- Is excaliburfilms.com racist? 2/22/2006 11:25:46 AM I just found a number of out-of-print VHS titles that are only carried by that store now. After filling the cart with 9 tapes, I added two DVDs for a good measure, but when I tried to check out, I was informed: "Sorry, we no longer sell VHS movies outside the US." There are only two possible "reasons" behind this idiocy that cuts off and insults a good portion of their customers. The first: the NTSC format. But, since even someone living in a fishbowl so dark that s/he wouldn't know of EU or the euro would know that 99% of European video recorders manufactured within the last 10 years play NTSC and every TV less old than 20 years shows it, that "reason" is automatically rendered invalid.
