  Sandee, I have to say that I'm glad you feel that there's more to life than "banking out", and I totally respect your honesty about that. So long as you're happy with the decisions you've made -- and are currently making -- that's the important thing. No one likes to see folks in the industry who become angry or bitter because of the choices they've made (though their feelings are sometimes understandable when an agent or comany makes things miserable for clients or workers/contractors). And seeing fans turn on someone simply because the star has reached her "limit" (for whatever reason) is just pathetic, in my book.   In terms of shoots in hotel rooms being &quot;illegal&quot;, I wonder if it has more to do with local ordinances and the contract that exists between the renter and the establishment regarding a prohibition on conducting for-profit commercial activities on the premises without specific consent of the owner. Although I'm not a lawyer, I could see where the owner of the property might be able to enjoin the release of any such photos or video, or at least attempt to compel a disgorgement of the revenues. Either way, the producer would have an unwelcome legal fight on their hands, and might lose control of the product at the end of the day. I hate hearing about stars who completely burn out and spiral downward with their lives, so if Jessi wants a baby, she can either come back recharged or she'll move on to the next stage of her life. As an admirer of your work, I am of course disappointed, but certainly understand and respect your decision. And by being so upfront about it here, one hopes that any negative rumors can be minimized (although I'm sure there will still be ones that make the circuit, given the nature of some personalities -- and their hangers-on -- in the industry). Best of luck to you in your other current and future endeavors, and I can only hope that we find you in the director's chair once again some day. Most importantly, I hope that you and your girlfriend find happier times and personal contentment.

  I think the thread you may be referring to may be <link> , though the topic has certainly come up in plenty of other threads as well. As a number of posts make clear, a sizable portion of the pornstar MySpace pages actually have no connection at all to the stars themselves, so take any page with a dose of skepticism until proven otherwise.

  One related question that doesn't seem to have been directly addressed here would be that of coming across obviously (to my eyes, at least) pirated DVDs at the retail level in a physical -- not online -- store. Where I live, there are several stores that periodically have small batches of DVDs on the shelves that just don't look like they'd meet the smell test: the packaging doesn't look quite right, the boxcover art/photos look as though they came off a mid-level color copier rather than a professional printer, etc. And I'm not referring to off-brand studios, but several of the majors. Everything else in the store appears to be authentic, based on a cursory visual inspection, that is. It would be difficult for anyone to stand in the stor...
