  Oh, it has been a while. I forgot how hot Bad Girls is. Thanks for the suggestion! Not what I'm thinking of though. The wood chopper is outside a house or cabin, with a pile of chopped wood next to them while they're chopping. And he is for sure the guy in the scene inside by the fireplace later.   This one made an impact on me at an early age, but apparently not enough to remember it properly. I always thought it was called Amanda By Night, but I saw that and the sequel recently and they were not the movie I remember. It was a U.S. film and I watched it in late 87 or early 88, and at the time I did not think it was that old. It felt like an 80s film. All I really remember is that the main character was taking time off from her job (which I think was a writer, but was maybe a prostitute... That may be where the "Amanda" confusion came from.) She goes to a house on the country, or possibly a cabin, and there is a guy outside chopping wood shirtless. (The ladies we were watching this with made a big deal about how attractive he was. ...
