    in my experience, which may or may not reflect what other people have gone through... as a performer.. every morning the agent would take a group of girls around to the different studios to meet with the people in charge of booking, they would take poloroids of the girls and have them fill out a form, this is called a "go see" this is how they would match the girls to the parts the needed to fill I gave my agent a list of performers I would *not* work with, he also has a list of what you will and won't do and your availability so he knows if you can take a job when the booking guy calls the booking people would then call the agent to fill the roles that needed cast then the agent calls you (or if your staying in the house they po...

    none of them had an exclamation point :( but thank you, they all claim the drivers are up to date and that they are working properly I now think the problem is that nothing is designated as the default sound device

    thank you so much, i just walked back in my house, but I'm going to email him that, I think I found the right chipset, but when i was poking around the device manager I saw it wasn't set as the default sound device, but the option to set it was blacked out and wouldn't let me choose it, so I went to try to reinstall hardware to see if then it would see it, but no dice I gave up for the night but I'm going to email your suggestion to him bigbob, or take it with me when i feel mentally ready for another crack at it
