  S1 E6 : Private School w/ Aidra Fox, Emily Willis , Georgia Jones & Angela White The sixth and final episode of season one of Girlcore opens in a classroom. We see a note be written and passed from Athena Rayne to Bobbi Dylan. The all-girl class is talking about a party and Emily Willis pranks Natalie Brooks rather than give her a piece of gum. Chloe Foster who sits in front asks the girls to be quiet. The bell rings and Georgia Jones walks in. She’s the new substitute, she writes her name on the board in introduction. ( Ms. Virginia ). Georgia is right down to business offering the class a chance to go over the Spanish Inquisition in their textbooks before a planned quiz. The girls groan in unison , not looking forward to getting tested....

  Thanks so much for reading and responding Whitney , I always love getting more perspective as to how a scene came together. Reluctance is hard to do well - and then thorny besides. But my own reservations about it shouldn’t mean I can’t recognize when someone gives full effort. I imagine that the fans who specifically like those elements loved this one. I was hoping that the end credits might show your reaction to what happened but I think maybe the vision was there to show it was just another day at work for the doctor and her nurses. One way I thought of that could make the character transformation more definite would be if maybe she asked to stay another night. And of course thanks to The Janitot as always for the twitter reposts.

  S1 E5 : Strange Nurses w/ Casey Calvert , Sarah Vandella & Whitney Wright The episode opens with Whitney Wright { Tiffany } waking up in a hospital bed. Nurse Casey Calvert {Amy} enters and says that shes here to help Whitney remove her bandages off. Whitney has just had a nose job and so shes dealing with some bruising that Casey helps her cover up with makeup. After the title screen we see Whitney listening to her Walkman when Casey visits again , bringing her some candy at lunchtime. Casey wants to know what Whitneys friends will think when she goes back to school. Whitney says that she graduated last year so who cares what those people think. Whitneys mom wants her to go to college soon but Whitney dreams of going to California and act...

  S1 E4 : Lesbian Twins w/ Shyla Jennings , Jenna Sativa & Kristen Scott The episode opens with Kristen and her dad ( played by Tommy Gunn ) arriving late in the afternoon to meet Tommy’s new girlfriend. Kristen plays obviously annoyed and is distracted by a game. Her dad is trying again to impress upon his daughter how important the weekend could be. He says that Marjorie ( Chanel Preston ) is excited to meet her. Kristen couldn’t care less. She’s a rocker babe ( Miranda) with an attitude and busies herself writing song lyrics while her dad drones on. By the time they arrive at the door he’s just trying to keep a lid on his frustration.   S1 E3 : The Third Way w/ Alexis Fawx & April O’Neil The film opens with April O’Neil ( Jane ) getting a call late, it’s past midnight. She’s got to go to work then and there and isn’t thrilled. Her boyfriend mentions the absurdity of it but April seems to know that arguing is no use. She has a good job and isn’t going to lose it by refusing her boss. April gets dressed and leaves. The sound of typewriter is heard and we see Alexis Fawx ( Veronica ) sitting at a desk hammering away. She’s got very red lipstick on and a revealing suit with a drape like cut to it with no undershirt. { for comic nerds this totally looks like something Lucifer aka Lucy would wear in The Wicked and The Divine ; which in itself sometimes feels like an homage to ...

  S1 E2 : The Go Girls w/ Carter Cruise , Abigail Mac, Scarlett Sage & Ryan Keely This episode starts out fast with trainer Abigail Mac ( Shiela ) leading her aerobics workout class in a session. The opening sequence feels a lot like a music video and we see some nice shots of babes butts as they knock out squats and jumping jacks. After the title rolls Abigail turns down the music. She has a quick huddle with Carter Cruise (Staci) who asks about the new girl glancing quickly over at Scarlett Sage( Jennifer ) Abi explains that she met the new girl at the store and that she and her husband just moved to the area.   S1 E1 : A Delicate Vice w/ Kenna James & Cherie DeVille The film opens with a shot or the city lit up at night. We see Cherie step out on the curb as Kenna watches from her car. Kenna is seen smoking and thinking about putting Polaroids up on the wall next to her bed. A car pulls up and Cherie gets in. When it pulls away we get a title screen. Later on Cherie gets into the backseat of Kenna’s car and they drive. Cherie counts money as Kenna throws her cig out the window. Cherie looks worried in the backseat her eyes searching for the right words but she stays silent.
