- Why are tattoos such a big deal? 4/22/2014 11:50:43 AM A short explanation on why I dislike most tattoos: I really like plain naked skin very much. Even when the skin of older women starts to get a bit bumpy and spotty its like a good whiskey that gathers more and more character in taste as it gets older. Most tattoos however don't look good from a far angel like in full body shots, unless they are big tribals or graphics that stretch large areas and become part of the body design as a whole. Smaller tattoos can not really be fully recognized from afar as they are made to be looked at from a much shorter distance.
