- Mac questions...and porn... 8/5/2008 12:51:15 PM 1. Designated/separate user accounts for both of you (should be done by default anyhow) 2. Browser can be set to run from an portable USB drive 3. Pictures (and video) can be stored on a portable 2.5" USB HDD, plenty of space and they are quiet/small/portable.
- Foie gras - yay or nay? 8/4/2008 8:06:19 AM Being a conscientious vegetarian (I do not eat meat (beef, pork, poultry etc), dairy or related products like eggs) my vote is a definite nay. IMHO this is animal abuse, plain and simple. While it does not happen on as large scale as factory farming of meat/poultry/dairy it is still a glaring example of animals being forcefully turned into food production machines. What makes it worse in a sense is the fact that all this is done to satisfy the whims of a relatively small group of affluent and wealthy people. They may narcissistically call themselves "gourmands" but what this is is culinary elitism at the expense of animals and natural resources. The same goes for veal. I strongly detest all of that.
- tiny (i mean tiny) girls 7/1/2008 8:10:31 AM What a wonderful thread, I love tiny/petite girls :)
- Does penis size really matter? 6/3/2008 7:52:38 AM Generalizations suck because most of the time they can be found to be lacking of any merit and have little if any relevance to anything. While it is true that most people might masturbate what does it really tell us? How large a percentage is most people, I mean scientifically speaking 51% qualifies? 51% and you have a majority. How often they masturbate? Do you fall into that category if you have masturbated even once? Or if you haven't but plan to? Boggles the mind doesn't it? Ok, lets chew on smg4ever's opinion for a while. Because that is what it is, an opinion. It is not a proven scientific fact. It is also pretty pointless because it is nothing more than a blatant generalization that assumes a lot. smg4ever wrote: Of course it does. A...
- Blu-Ray and Porn? 4/14/2008 2:05:37 PM Yeah, it is happening albeit slowly. Digital Playground has been pretty exemplary in the way they embraced HD formats. Their Blu-Ray catalog is shaping up nicely and it seems to be a profitable business. LFP/Hustler Video has also started to publish stuff on Blu-Ray. Other studios have also announced plans to publish movies on Blu-Ray. The one thing that has amazed me is the fact that one of the industry giants, Private, has been really quiet on the HD front. I know they have been shooting most of their stuff on HD cams (as have every other bigger studio in preparation for the inevitable). Jason Colt was supposed to come out on HD DVD but I have yet to see that confirmed. Maybe they just don't see it profitable enough atm. :(
- the end HD DVD... will industry go Blu Ray now 3/7/2008 1:18:55 AM Mike Quasar wrote: It is very pricey, that's for sure but now is a great opportunity for premier name studios to fulfill a market need that didn't exist a year ago but one that will only get bigger despite everyone's claim that DVD is dead. Imagine a consumer searching online for Blu-ray porn and only finding the best brands and none of the glut that exists in the standard DVD market now. Interesting view... I like that! :) Mike Quasar wrote: Leisure Time will never release anything on Blu-Ray :) Heh, I sure hope so! :D
- the end HD DVD... will industry go Blu Ray now 3/5/2008 9:06:24 AM Where there are buyers there is a market. Porn will definitely be distributed on Blu-ray. As it stands now Blu-ray will be the dominant (if not the *only*) physical distribution format for mainstream HD movies for years to come, adult industry and porn producers can not ignore that. Also, the price for getting a final product to the consumer will go down (producing/replication etc.), it is just a matter of time.
- Porn DVD Hi Definition question 2/25/2008 1:30:05 PM Even though BDA (Blu-Ray Disc Association) does not mandate that the discs themselves must be of a certain region, the functionality for that is built in to the specification. Region free players, heh, I do not think we are going to see any of them that soon... As long as Sony controls the manufacturing of BD laser assemblies any company daring to make a region free BD player is simply asking for a major nose bleed. Even making one that is too easily hackable (software hack etc.) would most likely lead to revoking of their manufacturing license topped with a lawsuit. Edited by - horn on 2/25/2008 1:30:32 PM
- Porn DVD Hi Definition question 2/25/2008 10:13 AM Full HD VOD (1080p at a similar quality/bitrate as Blu-Ray) is not even a daydream for most people atm. Mainstream acceptance/penetration of HD VOD as a media delivery medium? Maybe in five to eight years? If even then. The march of technological progress is inevitable but I think in ten years from now there will still be a significant number of people who simply *must* have a physical copy (be it either optical/SSD/Flash based) of a product before they commit to buying one to own. This is especially true for collectors, they are not just buying the movie but also the package, everything around the movie. I think one arena where VOD will triumph in the future is rentals/subscription based IPTV services. People accept significantly lower qu...
- How will the recent developments in HD affect Porn 2/19/2008 3:39:08 AM HD DVD is dead. Quote: TOKYO--Toshiba Corporation today announced that it has undertaken a thorough review of its overall strategy for HD DVD and has decided it will no longer develop, manufacture and market HD DVD players and recorders. This decision has been made following recent major changes in the market. Toshiba will continue, however, to provide full product support and after-sales service for all owners of Toshiba HD DVD products. http://www.toshiba.co.jp/about/press/2008_02/pr1903.htm Hopefully this will be the needed stimulus for the adult studios to start releasing their goods en masse on HD/Blu-Ray. There is a market for quality releases and now that the HD format war is officially over the decision should be a nobrainer. The ce...
- High Definition 12/17/2007 7:13:04 AM Hear, Hear! The glut of mediocre and seemingly similar titles has for me killed any interest in spending money on porn. The market needs two things: a) Better movies b) Released in HD (Blu Ray being my personal preference). I used to buy a lot of stuff before (still have ~100 adult dvd's). When I collected movies I was after consistent quality, killer visuals and good action. Stuff that was on the cutting edge both cinematographically and technically. Now with the HD content the bar has been raised to an entirely new degree. The fact is people can get their fix free nowadays. That said I firmly believe there is money to be made in publishing and distributing porn. The producers just need to match the right product with the right market.
- Has anyone seen new 21sextury dvd's? 9/28/2005 12:52 PM K, thanks for the heads up! But hey, cool, seems that quality products do sell... :D Now if only they would settle which will be the next gen HD media format (HD DVD or BD) so we could get these lovely movies in 1080p ;P
- AVfantasy.com - screenshots 3/19/2005 11:17 AM "A thousand screenshots does not a movie make." Come on for real... I think the word transparency comes into play here. To be able to have a reasonable understanding of the product in question before making the choice to buy it instead of going on a wing and a prayer (and usually getting burnt). What I would really like to see is full resolution screenshots that really show the technical quality of the product. Pixelation and other compression artifacts, halos, excessive grain, etc. Is the image in focus, how it is lit, does it look natural or compressed etc. In the end the screenshots, no matter how many of them, do not give out enough information to replace a movie or the experience of seeing the movie. If a person wants to s...
- Porn without superman clones... 2/23/2005 1:32 AM Thanks, will do!
- Just something I wrote the other night... 2/22/2005 1:06 AM Hmmm, scary, male/29/Scorpio here also... xD And my thoughts about masturbation go pretty much along the same lines. Sometimes mindblowing, most of the time good and if nothing else it relieves stress. Disappointing, hmm, sometimes you just come without an orgasm but even that is ok, my disappointments are mostly because I get interrupted by something or have to hurry to finish. I have also found that anal stimulus + masturbation can intensify my orgasm to a degree unachievable otherwise. And porn, yes, visual stimulus is always a bonus even though mind alone can be enough. A healthy habit :)
- New 21Sextury dvds, anyone seen? 1/15/2005 3:40 AM Hi, no problemo, just doing what I usually do... :) Horn
- New 21Sextury dvds, anyone seen? 1/14/2005 3:03 PM Cool, and thanks, me thinks I have to get some... A bit off topic: Jacco, you work for yourchoice.nl? What are your shipping options etc. couldn't find them from the site? You really should add that sort of stuff about shipping and payment options, terms and conditions etc. to your site, it would add a lot of credibility to your company and site if you did so. Side note: I work as an AD and web services developer here in Finland, usually such items along with usability mean a lot especially when trying to convince a first time customer to do their shopping in one particular place, i.e. your fine and reputable establishment. Of course price, selection and availability of merchandise, customer support and ease of use of the site (layo...

- New To Replace IDE Drive 9/7/2004 4:02 AM Well, I think lazenby meant IDE drives? That Maxtor Atlas III sure is one fast drive even for being a 10K drive but for a home or even for an ordinary workstation machine that would be genuine and total Overkill. The difference in performance in desktop and office use is negligible when compared to modern 7200rpm drives. You really cant tell the difference if the rest of the machine isnt state of the art or even relatively modern and you dont push it to the limits storage systems wise. The cost is also prohibitive especially if one has to buy the controller etc. And figuring in the factor that that thing is not quiet by any means and pumps out quite a lot of heat... For the best site about HDDs and such I would guide you to <link> . L...
