They lost the presidency by 5 million votes and lost seats in both houses of Congress. They lost the popular vote in the Senate races by a landslide, and also lost the popular vote in the House, even though they maintained their majority. Their views have been clearly and emphatically rejected.

^^ Agreed. But as I stated, this right to bear arms has outlived its usefulness, at least in terms of offering hope to resist a tyrant. If the domestic military wants to pacify us, I hardly think we could do much about it, and in any case, the chances of this happening are as close to zero as you can get.
