  I hate tattoos, especially on girls. No matter how beautiful the tattoo (and there are some gorgeous ones out there-- Sophia Santi's is nice) all I can do is picture how it will look like when they're middle-aged. But then again I shouldn't be picturing today's models naked at 50 anyhow. I have a stylist, but due to budget reasons I can't use her as often as I'd like. And sometimes she does lean a little more towards the old-skool Playboy look, since that's her background and she's worked for my mom for so many years, who loves to drape EVERYTHING, bless her heart. That being said, not everything that's in fashion these days is particularly flattering to one's shape. The oversized tops and UGGs don't really translate well in porno world. B...

  Wait a minute... Blue Horizon was bought out of bankruptcy by Magna? Are you sure about this, because this is the first I've heard of it. I don't think Fox was associated with Blue Horizon at all-- I forget the publishing name they went under but I can check later today when I'm in the office. Blue Horizon emerged from Crescent Publishing, but I don't think Magna had anything to do with it. We deal with Blue Horizon as totally separate clients from Magna. Magna did buy Fox and Gallery, I know that. They're continuing Gallery (at least for now) because they bought some sets from me for it. Don't know about Fox though.   I think it's because it just wasn't the best move, business-wise. I advised Alisha that she should start off doing solo girl and g/g work, and ride that horse into the ground before she starts up b/g work, if she does decide to take that step. Regardless of when/if she does begin to do b/g scenes, doing a bj scene for a small-time website for whatever little money she was paid as her first foray into the adult business, is not such a good move.

  I just spoke to Alisha and she's not ready to do b/g work yet. She says the BJ video was done a few years ago, and she considers it a big mistake. She's open to considering b/g work in the future, but right now I think she just wants to shoot solo and g/g. I'm flying her out the last week of April, and I will be bringing her to the XRCO awards, if anyone will be there and wants to meet her.

  Haha I thought the only thing she'd done was for me, too. Anyhow I'm planning to fly her back out here to work with me again-- I was encouraging her to take it slow and not start off doing b/g work right away, but this kinda changes things... ;)

Seriously though, I'm flattered. As for my mom, no she's never performed sexually in a porn film, but I do believe she played a game show host on one of her 80s flicks-- Miss Passion, I think?   While obviously my mom was never technically a porn star, I did grow up surrounded by the people in the industry. The closest she got to porn is the spread she did for Hustler... Believe me, I don't look at it, but I'm not grossed out that she did it. Actually, maybe I am. But basically what I want to say is that I think if you're honest with your children, and you raise them right, they can accept whatever it is you do. Normalacy is relative.
