  About a month ago, I ordered from 5 Star DVD. They have great prices, and didn't even charge shipping for priorty mail.(I think 4 or more DVDS) It arrived at my house a few days after I ordered in a plain box. Very smooth transaction from start to finish.

  Well, Monday I filed a complaint with my credit card company. Just waiting for them to mail me the forms I need to fill out. Then today there is a knock at the door and a lady holding a box from platinum dvd. All the videos arrived brand new in sealed containers and in good shape! The package was sent out on Oct 14. 3 days after I started this thread. I wonder if the owner seen this thread and decided to make good on the order. Well just wanted to say thanks for the help, and I am glad to be able to be a member of this great site!

  Thanks for the replies. I did use a credit card for the purchase. So I just have to call the credit card company and tell them what happened? I sent an email to the guy who registered it, and the mailer demon sent it back. I called the number listed for the guy also, and of course that recording of " the number you are trying to reach is no longer in service" came on. So I guess I just learned a valuable lesson. I wish I would have found this site BEFORE I ordered!

  Has anyone ordered from www.platinumdvd.com? I ordered some dvd's 3 weeks ago, and still have not heard anything back from them since the original email stating they got my order. My biggest mistake was not checking the company out. They have no physical address or phone number on their site that I can find. Or any type of customer service or email address that I can ask about my order. I am rather angry about this whole deal, and not being able to find any info about this company at all. Am I screwed or does anyone have any info about them?
