  I was shooting in the late 80's and continue to do so now.I most certainly agree with Francesca. Yes,the boundrys have expanded and we do more bizzare things....and Yes we shot at a much more frequent pace. Still only some girls Get It. They all think they,re PORNSTARS. 3 months in the Biz and they're Pornstars. Give me a fuckin break!! I'm not saying there arn't smokin girls,because there are! .... and they can fuck and love to fuck....but to be a Pornstar they're going to have to put in consistant great performances for Years AND keep the viewers intrest. Anyone else is just doing porn,some great but many marginally because they're too sore from overwork. Blame greedy girls and greedy agents!

  For Me: Life is too short to use anything but a Mac.... it's all about the ergonomics of the system ....simply beautifully written and sitting on top of a Unix base. Vista will surely mimic the Mac OS (again!) but if it is still atop mountains of DOS I doubt it will ever be secure or stable. YMMV

  Oh and Kami...the DOF on the 1/3 chip cameras is so huge that matching f8 to 5.6 is pretty much a non issue....and with some sort of cut,even more so. G

  Hey Quase How did the camera handle?? Somewhat boxy like the Z-1? Also do we have to cough up another thousand for a wide adapter (like the Z-1). I could see myself on a Zupko shoot going thru $20,000 of P2 cards. I'll wait till the firestore Hard drives are out...or the Market shakes out and gives us some maybe more ergonomic HDV cams. I do however love the Pany's colors & Blacks. G Hey to DAC & Jake
