  It would also have been interesting, though perhaps ultimately creepy and sad, if they'd explored how porn stars can become huge (albeit briefly) even when they are, like Bella Donna, unique looking, and not at all the 6-foot-tall blond "hollywood" stereotype of beauty. This would have likely turned creepy because they'd have said that porn was just looking for energetic, messed-up souls - bodies were secondary.   Although the tone was somewhat negative (and holier-than-thou) I kept wondering what kind of clout Elegant Angel must have with ABC to get this much free advertising. About Sawyer, an honest moment that would have made me laugh out loud would have been, if part of her script had included something along the lines of "Myself and my husband personally prefer the films that feature a dildo in the ass and a vibrator in the kitty. But some porn is more extreme..."[resume the deceitful script here]. That kind of honesty would have been appreciated. I mean they tried to act as if they don't watch porn themselves.   "The reason you don't see more asian men in porn is because the market isn't there to demand it." I don't know about that. For years, most men in porn were ugly. Indeed, most still are. Did the market demand that? I doubt it. Seems like most were just friends of the producers, and if the porn business is based in LA (as opposed to San Fran, where there'd be many more of Asian decent) then it just figures most would be out of luck white guys. If aesthetics were a factor in deciding on male talent, there'd be more attractive men generally, and that would include Japanese men (or Asian/Caucasian offspring). Especially now that body hair is out of fashion, given Asians' relative lack of it.

  If these are your first adult DVDs that you've tried to play on your PC, perhaps your PC's DVD player software is only set to play region 1 and doesn't know how to handle "region 0" discs (which most adult DVDs are). Read up awhile in the help menus before you return to the store, there's a chance there is a simple setting you need to do in the PC's DVD player software. You could also download a different DVD player, if your player is entirely software based (some are, some aren't - mine is chip based).

  Saw Flaunt It recently, and I give it a thumbs (and four fingers) down. Reason is just that the lead actress is one of those brunettes with the fake blond hair, press-on nails (ok, they may be real, but who the heck wears nails like that today?), and too much makeup - kind of a late seventies/early eighties throwback kind of look, I guess.   Scott, first some criticism then some suggestions, both meant to help. So you're the ones putting those out! I have to say, that while they may sell ok, I think once people realize (after a couple purchases) that Dolly Buster and Deborah Couer are senior citizens (and pretty gross regardless), they won't come back.   I saw the Frontline show too, and Lizzie Borden definately sounds like a sociopath. But it was good to see that the Feb 2002 obscenity trial is about Tampa Tushy Fest. On the plus side, in that video it is woman-to-woman fisting, so it won't seem like it is exploiting women. Also on the plus side, the woman doing the fisting is talking to the camera about Chloe's pleasure, about her having an orgasm - so the idea that it is meant to be sadistic is invalidated.   Hopefully none of those films would ever get distributed in the US. However I wonder if some people are older than they may appear. I question if there may be some difficulties in determining ages when it seems that some countries are rather malnutritioned, which makes it difficult to judge a person's age. I wince whenever I see obviously Russian "models" (ADULTS, I am referring to!!) doing nudity to escape to a better life. It is just awful.

  The films Party Doll a Go-Go 1 & 2 not only had a good trippy surf-like soundtrack (with a modern twist) of its own, by a band called Double Vision, but it also inspired some other band to make a song about the film. I forget the name of this other band but I think they named the song Party Doll a Go-Go and it was full of samples from the videos.

  And just to phrase it in a way that will mean something more to Wit: I'm going to buy VCA's Party Doll a Go-Go I & II. I'm going to buy VCA's Night Dreams II & III. I'm NOT buying the new stuff. I couldn't even name a new VCA title if I tried. They may be good, but they aren't what I am going to buy. I prefer the pre-condom/fewer implants days anyway.

  One of the bonus scenes in the extras on the first FEMME dvd is an all-girl orgy with a bunch of babes rolling around on plastic sheeting, and they do all seem to be lubed up. It is a great scene, but there is no beginning to it since it is just an extra scene in the extras. It is actually from some other video. So the question of "how did all these women end up naked?" and "what sort of room is all plastic?" and "what the heck is the plot here, anyway?" are all unknown. Calling Leonard Nimoy... It features Debi Diamond. The Femme DVD is often cheap - ten bucks. Pick it up.
