  I boxed the crap out of punching bag today. My knuckles are raw and there's some swelling and bruising on my left hand. I'm wondering if I fractured it. I hardly slept last night and I probably won't tonight. I should be with my gf but it's not going to happen with both of us overloaded on work. Tomorrow's a big day for my lil bro.   My weekend: GF and I drove to Cleveland. Car broke down on the way. Rented car and survived rest of trip intact. Met up with Kimi. Argued with GF. Made up with her in very primal fashion (I still have rugburn on my back). Drove back to DC and saw the new gymnastic for no other reason than eyecandy (the ice tub scene, so hot). GF drooled over the lead who resembled Hillary Swank only with even better abs. A satisfying weekend had by all.

  GF is moving to Houston in July because of a work reassignment (months before she was slated to move and we kept hoping to the last minute she'd get Chicago). So now I either have to decide to quit my terrific new job and move to one of my least favorite cities or I have to make a long-distance relationship work. Both options suckass.

  I had an adventurous sexual year (lot of higher-risk partners) so I was happy to see all negatives back on my annual STD tests-for-everything. Every few months, I do HIV and a couple of the major tests, but things like HSV2 & pap smear/HPV I only bother with on an annual basis. It felt good to know that I'm completely clean going into a serious monogamous relationship with the gf.

  I cannot visit this or other happy sites at my new work and I've yet to figure out a way to rig my way around the system. I also can't work from home as often because I have to still impress people. So right now I'm being all super social and efficient in this very healthy lifestyle at work. If I had a therapist, I bet s/he'd be happy. But I'm restless and getting bored. I am picking up James' ADD. Help! Help!

  I never thought I'd like fizzy water because I'm not a fan of selzer. But I find that some kinds are pretty good. It really depends on the brand. I bought a new kind called "Simply Clear" which I find much too sweet/flavored and overcarbonated. I have to add about 50% water to it and leave it open it for a while. Plus, at 89 cents a liter, it's cheap compared to juice, soda, and still water brands.

  Blah weekend. Civie gf was sick so no weekend fun. Insomnia is brutal. Work is going to hell...I'm dreading four CYA (cover your ass) meetings on Monday. I ask myself if I can deal with the stress for another twenty years. My growing ulcers say no.
