  Does anyone know of a forum similar to this but with VHS vids included in the discussion. I know I'm not the only one with a mixed format collection and most of VHS titles out there don't yet have a DVD counterpart. There are also plenty of studios who haven't made the jump to DVD releases. I think such a forum would be worthwile but I haven't found one. Anybody?

  zaxx, Sorry for the long delay in replying. I haven't read this thread for a while. I just read recently that _Snoops_ got the ax. Probably the stupidest network decision since NBC cancelled _Earth 2_ but, oh well. Since ABC did kill Snoops they'll probably run some filler (i.e., Who Wants to be a Putz for some Cash.) until they develop something to satisify the Lowest Common Denominator.

  I've got to disagree with you Guru. Yes, their selection is the best, at least based on my somewhat random selection of discs. On the other hand, their prices are consistantly among the highest of the sites I have checked. In some cases their prices are more than double what a given title sells for elsewhere. I can't speak to their service because I have yet to place an order with them.

  Excellent work people! I'm also a big (huge, in fact ) fan of Dyanna Lauren. I'd almost written her off after "Bobby Sox" but she brought me around in "Bad Wives." Kylie Ireland just makes me melt. ('Melt?' An astoundingly poor choice of words in this context!) And where would any of us be without Marilyn C's ground breaking work? Are those times PST?

  I haven't been at this long enough to have a system perfected. At this point I have a shelf full of 'mainstream' DVDs and a shelf of VHS tapes that is starting to lose the battle as my DVD collection grows. In the same bookcase I also have a shelf of adult DVDs and VHS tapes with a few recorded TV shows and miscellaneous thrown in. I'm a bachelor with very few under-age visitors to protect and I'm not too concerned with what other adults think of my porn collection. It would be even more embarrassing to have someone spot a piece-o-crap movie like "Godzilla" on my shelf than to catch me with "Rocki Roads' Wet Dreams."

  Okay, okay! Now that I'm in the correct forum, let me try to close this can of worms once and for all. I clearly screwed the pooch when I hinted that the moderators of this site had shown any favoritism for a few XXX DVD sites. I saw those threads closing in the 'general discussion' forum, didn't read thoroughly enough to know that they had only been moved and jumped to an unwarranted conclusion. Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. I can only apologize so much before it becomes obscene. I've already surpassed my limit of ass-kissing for this year! I am sorry and that's my final word on the subject.

  Can we assume you're talking about a *real* rape and not the fake stuff that is somewhat common on usenet? If so, I've heard that there is a pretty healthy market for that in Japan. I vaguely remember seeing several tabloid television stories on it (undoubtedly during a "sweeps" week) about 6 or 7 years ago. Apparently the vidiographer and his henchmen cruise around in a van looking for suitable victims. When one is found they pull alongside, snatch her into the van and quickly vamoose while the video camera captures the entire ordeal. When the kidnapper/rapists are finished they usually drop the woman, or young boy in some cases, in a remote location. There have been a few instances there the victim ended up dead.

  If you folks are so fair minded - and I'm not saying you aren't - then why do threads that discuss these 'non-advertiser' stores get closed so fast? I've only been reading this forum for a short time so I may be jumping to conclusions. If so, I apologize to everyone who was offended. I have noticed, however, that those topics are always (almost always?) closed within a very few days. What other conclusions can be reached?

  It seems that the moderators of this forum want to quash any discussion about vendors other than FiveStar. I'll share my experience but I wouldn't expect the thread to stay open long. I have placed several orders, for both VHS and DVDs, with Excalibur. Each time I've received the correct items in a reasonable amount of time. I've contacted their customer service by phone and by e-mail and have always had a prompt and responsive reply. Their selection of DVDs is second only to Adult Empire and their prices are very competitive. The only consistant negatives are their relatively high shipping charges (which are waived for orders over $100) and their painfully slow web servers. Too be fair, I have also had excellent service from FiveStar and t...

  Jennifer Tilly is no slouch either, especially when she uses that ditzy/sexy accent of hers. I agree that Gina Gershon is too hot. Those lips alone would put her in my top five list of sexiest brunettes.
