  Evil I hear you. I had to front this last week, which is what urged me to post again on this topic. A good friend of mine is about to become a single mother, and had asked me for my opinion on circumcision. All I could say was that it was the best money I'd ever spent and I wished I'd been done at birth, but I had a very hard time working out if this was a decision anyone should make for a young child without reason. Either it's just one of the many many choices parents make for their children on a regular basis, or it isn't - and that depends entirely on your point of view. Working in an allied health field myself, I'd be much more concerned about vaccinating my children than circumcising them, considering some of the research that is c...

  licker My foreskin retracted just fine. It wasn't tight at all and wasn't limited by a tight frenulum. I lived in a warm climate and I picked up a few infections under there. I saw one doctor who advised me to get it cut off, but I didn't want to so I shopped around. The next guy I saw said I could use steroid cream, but in the end he said my choice was either walk around with cream oozing from the end of my dick whenever I had an infection (not that often BTW, but still too often for my liking), or lose it.   Well, in my case it was exaclty the opposite. I was circumcised in my early 20's and it was the best money I ever spent. I would never go back to having a foreskin and my only regret is that I wasn't done at birth. I know it's only one person's experience, and if you're adamantly against the operation you'll no doubt be able to turn up a different viewpoint, but as someone who has experienced plenty of sex with and without a foreskin, the foreskin free model wins hands down. The difference is like night and day as far as sensation goes. Not trying to flame - just posting my experience.

  This is my response from a previous post... "I was circumcised on my doctors recommendation 11 years ago when I was 22. I have experienced sex as both a circumcised man and an uncircumcised man, with the same woman. I have more sensitivity now than I ever did before. My wife enjoys me more now than she used to. The supposed loss of sensitivity (which was freaking me out before the operation) is a myth. My worst dream, that I would be left with an insensitive piece of meat, never happened.   Oh and Lindi I heard about the yoghurt thing a few years after I had the operation. I probably would have given it a try but then I'd have been wandering around with yoghurt constantly oozing from my dick instead of steroid cream!

  Hmm - didn't mean to hijack this thread. Future of porn - the younger the age at which surgery happens, the better the healing, generally because the scar tissue tends to grow with the growing skin of the infant. And also, the younger a person is, the better their body is working physiologically, usually because they haven't had years of unbalanced eating or bad habits to throw their metabolism out of balance. At least, this is what my doctor explained to me (after the surgery, BTW. Yes - I have a scar on my penis - a thin white line.   Sir Noel I guess "sensitive" is a relative term. Perhaps I should have said sensation instead? My eyeball is probably one of the most sensitive parts of my body but it doesn't give me any pleasure - lubing up a finger and stroking it is not going to be that much of fantastic experience! The feeling I get from intercourse is more "specific" now - a more definitive sense of "My God that feels so good right THERE, and there and there" rather than "Mmmm - that feels really nice". I know It's a bit vague but it's the best I can manage for now. To me, the "sensations" I feel during intercourse are stronger than before.   Hi Sir Noel The doctor recommended I be circumcised because I was suffering from recurrng bouts of balanitis. I'd go through maybe three to four episodes a year. By the time I got to the surgery stage I was just so sick of fucking around with creams all the time that I thought it (the circ) would be the lesser of two evils. As I said before, I shouldn't have worried about it. Cheers
