- Fox Magazine 12/1/2008 4:33:08 PM You are right, inmates still need print. Penthouse is horseshit every month the Pet is a popular porn star. I can almost guess who will be next within a month or so. The Penthouse cover models are now being photoshopped even more than those in Playboy. And I don't understand why. I need the cover headline to figure out who in hell they are.
- Fox Magazine 12/1/2008 4:26:49 PM I can understand why a former subscriber might not be pleased with this offer and I'm moving forward assuming I have to win over new readers. That said, it IS a huge discount over newsstand prices. The magazine is now $11.99 per issue, and is published 13 times per year. That's $155.87 if purchased on newsstands over the course of a year. The subs at the old company were $25 per year, basically two newsstand issues. It is certainly wiser to subscribe but, as I believe I posted here before, risk always comes with heavily discounted magazine subscriptions. I've eaten many subscriptions over the years and, yes, it pisses me the fuck off--but it's a fractional, minor loss in context. When you take that into consideration, the offer isn't so bad...
- Fox Magazine 7/5/2008 9:57:21 AM Trumped in what sense? In the way radio trumped print? Film trumped radio? Television trumped all three? The web trumps them all, I guess, but media survive by ADAPTING. It's a rather limited argument to say that, "Well, Brazzers updates daily so stop printing magazines!" As I said before, we are striving to provide information and entertainment in a way Brazzers, for example, doesn't. Even if it's about the lowest common denominator--jerking off--it is quite obvious that many still enjoy doing that to photographs. Some will of course abandon print in the way they stopped listening to music on AM radio, but it will survive for those with specialized interests and needs. At least until it is no longer possible or necessary to make...
- Fox Magazine 7/4/2008 1:19:05 PM ^I understand your position, and there's not much I can say other than that Magna is an extremely stable company. FOX's sales figures have always been excellent, even given the dip in the market, so we won't be going anywhere. Maybe the offer you will receive soon will be amenable.
- Fox Magazine 7/4/2008 12:29:55 PM Another uninformed opinion. There are no "porn star columns" in FOX. Our focus is on the gonzo industry. We primarily feature exclusive coverage of gonzo features as they are being shot, kind of like the way People or Premiere cover Hollywood product. And we present interesting photography of new porn talent. There is a place for print in this industry, just like there is a place for People in mainstream. It's about TALENT and PRODUCT PROMOTION. Just because you might not want to read People doesn't mean they should pack up and shut down. Maybe it is the porn mags that only attempt to provide a cheap wack, without adapting into "entertainment coverage," that will or should eventually fall by the wayside. The Moody Blues,...
- Fox Magazine 7/3/2008 8:55:54 PM I was told by the publisher today that subscribers will soon be sent an update and offer via regular mail. The email from our circulation department pasted above is in fact where things stand at the moment.
- Fox Magazine 7/2/2008 11:29:19 PM Subscribers can contact us at: www.xxxsubs.com/fox This page will be updated very soon to include FOX, LOLLYPOPS and GALLERY. There's a customer service number there. You can write me at charlie @ foxmagazine.com if you have non subscription-related questions.
- Fox Magazine 7/2/2008 3:39:11 PM Yes, FOX, GALLERY AND LOLLYPOPS are now owned by Magna Publishing Group. They were purchased at bankruptcy auction. The September 2008 issue of FOX is on newsstands now. Content is not changing in the least. Anal, ass gapes and cum shots as usual.

Really? Beating a dead horse? I'd say all these threads qualify as that to some degree. I wish you too would also take a look at the page before jumping to conclusions.
- Hustler article on Haley Paige 2/22/2008 9:02:30 PM
I too agree with veronica moser on this one. And for Foxmagazines argument about Mickey Mantle, his parents probably would not have a problem with a picture of him playing baseball. RIP Haley
A-ha! So therefore she she should have been ASHAMED! You said it: porn is SHAMEFUL. This proves that at least one of the lot of you should not be watching or, god forbid, SUPPORTING evil porn!!! SHAME ON YOU! It also follows that, given all performers will some day die, they should all STOP NOW for fear of upsetting their parents. And before you get me wrong, I AGREE. - Hustler article on Haley Paige 2/22/2008 2:55:02 PM As a writer for adult magazines and my own website, would I put a picture of a dead porn star with a dick in her ass as a memorial NEVER, I think it is in distaste to the dead. To each his own. I don't like Jenna Jameson, Jeff Foxworthy, Vivid product or Celine Dion. But at the same time, I would say 98 percent of the people on this board who knew of Hailey Paige knew of her as ONLY a porn star and nothing more. Exactamundo! Did any of you know Haley Paige? Chico Wang? I am of the opinion that Haley was comfortable with pictures of her performing in porn.
- Hustler article on Haley Paige 2/22/2008 2:27:27 PM Amen!! I'm still waiting for you to tell me what the page said. CONTEXT MATTERS. And she was a porn performer. I suppose Mickey Mantle should not be depicted in obits playing baseball???

Perhaps the mainstream media will pick it up? Furthermore, I BROKE the story of Haley's death. AVN etc. picked up my research, which then appeared to a lesser degree in the MAINSTREAM MEDIA. If you doubt this do some research here and on the dreaded XPT, where that research originally appeared. You are probably correct in your assumption that HUSTLER maybe ran the story to make a quick buck.

Oh wait, are you saying it's actually BAD to be a porn performer? That her past should be hidden upon her death? PUH-LEEZE, fanboys.

- Haley Paige? please no 10/12/2007 8:47:03 PM FYI - Haley can't drop charges. Only the prosecutor can do that. She can be uncooperative, but prosecutors are used to pursuing such cases even with a hostile witness. Moreover there was one item in the arrest report about a firearm, and the prosecutor wouldn't need Haley's cooperation on that one. Anyway, I don't remember charges ever being filed, only an arrest made. Thanks for the clarification, JRV. I'm no lawyer. I was under the impression that the case was abandoned, for whatever reason. Maybe a retraction of the initial complaint on Haley's part?
