- Excaliburfilms going out of business? 8/27/2009 11:35:46 PM As a former employee of excalibur films, I can say for sure that they are starting to go out of business. I still talk to employees that work at excalibur and various things have occurred which leads them all to believe the company is about to go under. As far as the recession, that is not the reason the company has sunk. It was because of the self centered owner Jerry. He took a gold mine and made it into a lump of coal within the past two years. He refuses to listen to his employees, employees that have more skills and knowledge than him. Why hire employees if you going to tell them how to do their job?
