I've had a few from them. Some are hard to spot, some very easy. In the past, they looked very close to the originals, discs professionally pressed and everything. The covers & disc art were the giveaway though, blurry and sometimes printed on standard office printer paper. One of the latest, which arrived a week or 2 ago, was a burnt copy - the disc was purple underneath. I wouldn't go with Kaos. When I order from them I get a mixture of original and illegal copies. Not good

There's a JKP DVD called "The Best of Jill & Julian". I haven't actually seen it, but it looks like the way to go if you want a bunch of their scenes.

On the local Private DVDs. I wouldn't mind buying the local versions if the overseas versions also have no extras, but I hate those damned cardboard covers we get here. I had the same thing happen with a Sony DVD player too, one of the more expensive ones at the time. It was cheaper to buy a new player than to get the laser replaced. I bought another Sony, but a cheaper one so I won't be as pissed off when this one dies. Besides that, I've never had any trouble with Sony DVD players at all. Every disc I've ever bought plays with no problems.

After reading the few lines about Ginger Lynn a couple of weeks ago, I thought her porn days would be a large part of the book too. Wouldn't be surprised if she's saving that for another book further down the line. I'd like to read a mainstream review of it though, to see what else she talks about in the book. My copy is on it's way from Amazon, so I'll be reading it for myself soon enough.

A recent example of how bad the Private DVDs are here. I bought the PAL version of the 2 disc Collector's Edition of "Perfect" from a local online store. The price was average, but it was autographed by Jodie Moore so I thought why not. Movie arrives, it lists all the extras as the US one. Put in disc 1, movie, fine. Put in the other disc, it's the movie plus a bonus scene w/ Jodie Moore... that's it. Basically the same disc only with different menus and labelled as the extras disc. Crappy.
