  I hope you guys will check out the scenes that Serena Blair and I have worked on for Allherluv (We write and/or edit all of the scripts she directs together). Outside of the recently released Kira Noir/Sovereign Syre scene, we have scenes with Lena Paul and Emma Hix as well as Charlotte Stokely and Cecilia Lion that were shot last week. We're trying to play with some of the tropes that exist in the g/g genre, as well as inject some more overt queerness into the scenes overall.

  FWIW, I've talked to a few girls in the industry and the g/g site is in the works. I don't know how far along it is (or if this teaser is it), but that post on the Lezlove forum is legit.

  ^^^ A go-see in designed to essentially be the equivalent of visiting universities for new models that you're interesting in attending if you're about to graduate high school. You network with the director/crew, see what goes into a day shooting for them is like and decide whether or not you'd be willing to shoot for them if they're interested in booking you. As we see here, they're also easy ways to take advantage of as the models that do go-sees are barely into the industry.   ^ Continuances can be annoying, but it's harmful to say "get on with it" or "they should have known and worked harder" in any major case, especially those involving alleged sexual assault. Without knowing which side asked for the continuance, it's impossible to know the exact reasons why the judge moved the date. However, it could be anything from Mercedes not having met with an attorney, a change in legal counsel, defense counsel having more than one case and not being available that day, new evidence being discovered that both sides are entitled to review, or an illness as you stated.   ^ x6 You raise the point that is seemingly being forgotten in all of this which is that Lily wasn't the only one that alleged inappropriate behavior over several years of Alan's time there. All that Alan's statement and "evidence" does for me is increase my belief that there should be an independent investigation to attempt to find out what actually happened. One thing I find really interesting about the timing of this is that in the Jezebel article, it was mentioned that the internal investigation had concluded and the results would be made known shortly. It's also important to note that there was no attempt to address any of the other allegations made against him beyond Lily's. At least according to Sam's twitter, there were eight women ...

  ^^^ I think the comments here that aren't qualifying their concerns about the situation relating to Bree's involvement and just calling her a liar are too much. However, I don't think rational concern can or should be dismissed just because Bree's done things publicly to support women in the industry. Anything on either side of the issue coming from some of the gossip sites should be taken with any less salt than the entirety of the Great Salt Lake.   ^ The porn industry really is the wild west when it comes to things like this, so I'm not surprised that they didn't have anything in writing. Hopefully this means that other studios will take similar action, as well. I do think some of the specific points of the code of conduct might give some insight into where the investigation is going. Clearly, even if an investigation turned up nothing, something similar to this would have been instituted. Expounding upon that though, the entire company could potentially face heavy litigation if it's found that this behavior was commonplace and was made aware to those who had power to change it yet did nothing until now. While some of this alleged behavior seems to not have happened while shooting was taking place, it's worth noting that a lot of Girlsway content has been shot at Alan's house.   ^ Nica is actually writing for Sweetheart again with Ricky Greenwood directing her scripts. I don't think Dana is bad at all, but the scenes for Sweetheart the last few years never felt like they had time to develop and with a lack of inspired casting, left a lot to be desired.

  There's a lot more to this and it can't all be posted here, but Charlotte Cross and Samantha had an interaction last night where Charlotte told her story of inappropriate behavior on Sam and Alan's part, leading to the following statement: <tweet> <tweet> In followup tweets, Sam claims to have been manipulated by Alan (which lines up with her original statement) and apologized to Charlotte for her behavior.   This is the only thing to do right now, but it doesn't address the other (and in my opinion just as damning) accusation from Lily that she contacted Bree about this months ago and it was swept under the rug as just someone being a "crazy fan" and told to keep it private. If that's true, at absolute best it's gross negligence of a severe accusation against a high-ranking employee that should have been immediately investigated for accuracy. At worst, more women could have been put at risk of harm if Lily's version of the events are true (and I have absolutely zero reason to not believe her).   ^x11 It's not the primary audience here, but being exclusive to Brazzers is loss for g/g fans (even if the scenes are good for HAM, I wouldn't be surprised if she only did 1 or 2 g/g scenes over the life of the contract) as well as those who are into the more vanilla/romantic work she did. It's fantastic for Kimmy since she'll hopefully make a lot of money from it, but there's also a hope from me taking the business out of the equation that she won't stay exclusive for the rest of her career.

While I do think that often times whether it be issues with casting and/or the narrative that led to the end product being less than the sum of its parts, I would much rather see chances taken and fail over playing it safe and getting a diminishing return like Sweetheart has been for the vast majority of the last few years and honestly how a lot of GW has felt this year up until Wastelands. Ambitions can be too much though and that plays into your point about models and their ability to play roles, Pat.
