  A couple of months ago I tried to purchase adult DVDs at Adult DVD Empire. Lo and behold, they won't ship to Atlanta, GA. (FiveStar will and did.) Because I didn't complete an order ADE sent me a $5 off $20 coupon to use on an order. Once again, I tried to place an order, but it was rejected due to me living in the tiny conservative hamlet of Atlanta. I tried using the coupon on non-porn DVDs to no avail. Anyway, I did enter the coupon code so it may no longer be valid. However, if you want to try it, you're welcome to. First to post their email address gets it. Just let me know if it works.

  Thanks for the replies, folks, especially from ADE itself. I also received two replies to my one email to ADE. Very good customer service. One email did suggest using an alternate shipping address such as work. However, the nimrods in my company's shipping department would inevitably lose the package... Thank you, AdultDVDEmpire. I really wish that I could place the order with you guys. As a result, I'm going to have to try another etailer. If and when I ever get out of the conservative South, I'll be sure to use you. :) (Side note: FiveStarDVD also replied to my inquiry. Very pleasant and willing to help too. I think I can order from them.)

  I've never ordered an adult DVD online (except for The Erotic Witch Project, if that counts...). I just tried to place an order for one at AdultDVDEmpire and the order was rejected with the statement that they can't ship to my "locality." What the hell?!? I live in Atlanta, specifically in Fulton County. We have strip bars (full nudity), lingerie modeling studios, adult bookstores, etc. I could understand if I lived in Alabama (I did for a while--don't do it *shudder*) where you can't even purchase X-rated videos, but in Atlanta? I found no mention of shipping restrictions on the ADE site. Can anyone--especially ADE itself--confirm this? Is there anyway around this? Are all adult DVD etailers limited by this inane restriction? ...
