  Re. cutting of extras. Remember, anyone who licences material to distribute in the UK has to *pay* the BBFC to classify everything on the disc. I'm too lazy to check the current rates, but I'm sure I'm not far off if I say putting out a fun-sized party disc will at least double the cost of getting an R18 certificate. I'm sure these kinda figures matter, 'cos I doubt R18s are selling in huge numbers, given the ltd. numbers of outlets. D.

  Obviously a lot has been going on these past few months. I've been kinda laying low trying to figure out what to do with my life. Let us know what has been going on. The 'demise' of EA wasn't reported objectively - almost everyone on this board seemed happy to hear about the bust. (As if EA were really the bad guys dragging the otherwise blemish-free industry into the gutter.) A brief summary of the situation would be extremely appreciated - by me at least.

  According to the EA website, the company was raided by federal agents on Tuesday. I thought these boards would've been alight. So who's got the news? I know EA have pulled some (!) scams before but somebody must know something. (Co-incidentally - or not - one of the XPW fansites has disappeared over the past few days). D.

  Snowdon - I am indeed a Brit. Disc was delivered by standard mail from within the UK. Standard cardboard mailer. No indication of contents / sender. Hope this helps. D.

  Hey, How did you guys know what disc it was I was after? Anyway, after I looked like I had to be the guinea pig I took the plunge. Ordered Wednesday evening, disc arrived Saturday. Needed to contact customer service at one point (personal issue)and got swift automated *and* personal replies. Very good service. Given their costs, I doubt I'll be using them again but on this initial experience, they seem very good. As for the ...WHORE disc itself, it's a Dutch issue (with subtitles - ahh, the good old days!) on the Quest label and have just had a quick look. The transfer is great (Extreme take note!) and it appears to be the uncut version with the pissing scenes intact. So, even if EA get round to releasing this, you might prefer this vers...

  Is there an online retailer that doesn't have its champions / critics? ADBO - and its mainstream counterpart - are the only North American supplier I have ever used. They're cheap, postage is free and stuff usually arrives pretty quickly (last order 5 days from notification of posting). I understand they can be tardy if something goes missing but then none of my packages have ever disappeared. Some folks also moan that they advertise stuff which they don't have in stock and back orders can be very slow. Only happened once with me (a mainstream title) and it did eventually turn up). D.

  Perhaps the notion of ethical shopping with regards the XXX industry is ridiculous but I thought I would pose the question. Once you start dallying with suppliers in certain countries, you start having access to materials outwith the bounds of the vanilla. Even one of the suppliers who get a lot of praise on this site openly sell b#stiality discs. Maybe I'm a hypocrite of the 1st order, but they ain't gonna get my money. The fact that such material is legal in that particular country isn't of interest. Lots of things in lots of countries are legal. That doesn't make them 'right'. I know that ultimately, the choice is my own but I wondered whether anyone else ever thought along the same lines. D.

  ...Except Stafford *doesn't* have a big filmography. Aside from a handful of early appearances, I think I'm correct that she works exclusively for Rocco. It's more quality over quantity. D.

  We've had the US vs. Euro debate. I couldn't contribute to that because it's been locked. The surfeit of US material on ADT was explained by it being US based, Euro material being hard to source Stateside, most visitors to the site being American, etc. All true. However, I think it's interesting to note that these US visitors have put - by my reckoning - 23 discs of European origin in the top 50 most read reviews. (Some are European discs, others are European movies released on US labels, Evil Angel for example). American visitors are clearly expressing a desire to read about overseas product.   What's suprising to me is to find out that many of the big names on this board are so young. Actually, when I say young I mean the same age as me! That's the sneaky thing about time: you just assume that people in 'authority' will be older than yourself. Then you realise that you're older than you think. You trip into your 30s and discover you should be running the show... D.

  The best kind of feedback is a positive customer testimonial and Stateside... are now my supplier of choice. Hope you'll consider stocking some Evil Angel back catalogue (ie. more of the Animal Trainer series) and some of the recent Extreme releases. Cheers D.

  I've been very happy with Stateside so far. They're slightly more expensive and not the fastest but ship from inside UK, so you can happily order stuff that might get stopped at customs. They've just changed their credit card company - previously you'd get an automatic note that said items had shipped when they plainly hadn't. We'll see how things go with this new outfit.
