Oh, by the way... Any idea whether these are truly "imports" or whether they are technically manufactured in the U.S.? The reason I ask is because most asian imports that I have come across are censored with mosaics. If they are actually imported, what country are they imported from? Just wondering...

Wow, I don't know how you found that. It is really hard to find these titles given the inconsistencies between websites. Oh well. I'll post reviews for the titles I ordered when I get them (hopefully soon).

Saki, I definitely understand what you're saying, and I agree that it's unreleastic to expect some of these classic porn films to be presented in their original form. I guess I just think it's too bad that some of these films aren't given better treatment. The fact is that, whether people like it (or will admit it) or not, films like Behind the Green Door, Debbie Does Dallas, and Deep Throat mark important points in American film history. Do I think that Criterion is ever going to release a DVD of Debbie Does Dallas? No. However, and I may be crazy for saying this, I don't think it would be inappropriate for them to do so. I guess I need to remember that the porn film industry is a different world from the "mainstream" film indu...

At adultdvdnow.com, the title that you linked to is called RDV37010 - Japanese (catchy title, huh?), and is listed at $21.95 vs. the $25.50 that AVEntertainment.com wants for it. Also, I found a coupon at www.dvdpriceguide.com/adultdvd-deals.htm for 15% off all orders at adultdvdnow.com. So with the coupon, and after shipping, you can get this title for $23.01 from adultdvdnow.com as opposed to the $30.50 that you would pay at AVEntertainment.com, saving you about $7.49 (not bad).

Thanks for that link, Evil_RIP. I ended up breaking down and getting that first asian DVD that I posted the link to. I want to pick up the one that you found also, but I think I've reached my porn spending limit for this week. Maybe next paycheck. If you're thinking of getting the one you linked to (Japanese Tera_Patrick), I found <link> in case you wanted to get it for a few dollars cheaper. I think I'll end up buying it from them when I have the money to do so again.

Thanks for the suggestions. Actually, I found a DVD on one site that I'm interested in, but I'm pretty certain that it's WAY overpriced. I wish I could figure out where they're importing these from so that I could cut out the middle man. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I stopped by a couple of the local adult video stores with my girlfriend after work, but they really didn't have a lot of major titles. It was weird. It seemed like the 2 stores I went to carried mostly miscellaneous hardcore compilations without a lot of the major stars, and none of the classics were carried either. One place had three really sullen-looking women behind the counter (which is on this platform so that they're heads are practically touching the ceiling) that weren't much help, and seemed to have no idea who any of the people were that I was looking for. Although I've seen a few porn videos here and there, I really don't know very much about different porn stars, etc., aside from Jenna Jameson, Traci Lords, Seka, etc. I recently saw some pictures of Aria Giovanni in a newsgroup, and she blew my mind. I thought to myself, I've got to see her on DVD. I checked out fivestardvd, and the people that reviewed it didn't like it very much, so I passed. Given that I liked Aria Giovanni's look, and that I'm not crazy about women who look too surgically enhanced, who are some other porn stars that I might want to look into? Thanks!

I have "Deep Throat" and "Debbie Does Dallas" on DVD, and it seems that some side information is missing on both of these movies. To a lot of people, this probably sounds dumb considering we're talking about adult films, but why aren't these movies letterboxed? These are classics!

This is my first post here, and I am glad that I found this forum. I'm hoping that you guys can help me. I'm looking for asian porn, but I'm going to sound kind of picky: I'm looking for uncensored DVDs (ie. no mosaic/pixel f/x censoring the action) ...with women that look more like Akira Fubuki and Maiko Yuki, and not like Asia Carrera or Mimi Miyagi ...reasonably priced (not $50+ imports) ...by hardcore, I mean not just a nude model posing to a new age music score ...I prefer something that isn't just a bunch of clips from different movies strung together I figured that maybe someone out there ciould help me with some suggestions on the best titles with attractive asian women (preferably not too silicon-looking).
