  I'd have to respectfully disagree with Ivan here. I don't think there is such thing as too sharp for porn as far as image quality is concerned. I'd like to see all the vivid details if it's there. MORE REALISM. Gonzo shouldn't be shot with "softness and a more filmic" look - that takes the heat factor away. Like another poster said, "If I want to see cinematography, I'll watch Lord Of The Rings".

  Chris Streams, thanks for replying. It sounds like you won't be using the 24P camera in future releases then. That would be good. Jules, thanks for replying. Hopefully, you will release a remastered version of Lex The Impaler 3. It's not everyday Jenna Haze works with Lex, so a remastering of that scene, along with all the other scenes would really do the DVD justice. Ukbadboy, I couldn't agree with you more on all the DVD titles and companies I had to avoid recently. It's quite a pity because there's some really good stuff from William H., Digital Sin, and 3rd Degree/Zero Tolerance that I have had to pass on.

  I've watched most of Jules Jordan videos over the years and they are top notch. The camera he uses is a super-sharp, shot-on-video look. Take "Flesh Hunter" series or "Glory Hole" for example - excellent video and lighting. Yesterday, I watched Lex The Impaler 3 and WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED? Jules switched cameras to some "cinematic" look, which seemed to be a blend of shot-on-video and shot-on-film. This is an increasingly annoying trend that I have seen other directors start using like all the 3rd Degree Films of recent releases.   I actually saw Melody Maxx on The Tennis Channel recently. There's a show called "No Strings" which features tennis players lives off the court.   Wow, this is, in my opinion, by far the best series from Zero Tolerance. Incredibly sharp camera used, great lighting, awesome casts, and great sex scenes. Top notch quality porn! Btw, I wish all Zero Tolerance vids had this picture quality. Seems like the quality varies among titles. I guess different equipment is used. Some ZT vids have washed out colors (Ass Cleavage), while others (Wendi Knight directed ones) use the dreaded 24P camera, which seems grainy and isn't great for gonzo IMHO. Just who is this Danny Case? His style kind of reminds me of Jules Jordan, with the nice tease factor at the beginning of each scene, except Danny does brief interviews while the girls do the teasing...Sweet.   Ok, I've noticed that New Sensations movies for awhile have been shot using the HD 24p camera, giving all their movies a 35 mm film look. I rented the latest Hot Latin Pussy Adventures #29 from Devil's Films and it was also shot using this camera. Before, Devil's Films used to use ultra-sharp video cameras, one of the best in the business. I hope that OTHER Gonzo companies aren't going to be shooting their vids with this 24p camera. If I want to rent a Feature, sure I don't mind seeing this 70's film look. But for Gonzo, I prefer Red Light District or Evil Angel's incredibly sharp shot-on-video look. The lighting and especially CLARITY is incredible on video. On the other hand, the 24p camera seems to take the "liveliness" and t...

  I used to really like the WALL-TO-WALL movies that New Sensations cranked out a few years ago, like Naughty College Schoolgirls #1-21 or so, and even the last Pornological #6. I believe that was when Scott Taylor was doing the directing. Those movies had clear, shot-on-video scenes with good lighting and the scenes had none of that annoying music. Fastforward to the present. Now these movies like 'Naughty College Schoolgirls' and the newer 'Young As They Cum' are directed by Andre Madness or Tyrone Shues. The video quality has gone way down - it looks like something shot on film which I don't think is a preference for most porn viewers because of the the grainyness or poorer picture quality.
