  Sorry to hear about the chat.....it seems that just like everywhere else on the web that starts out cool, the bottom feeders of the web get into it and totally fuck it up for the people who DO enjoy the genuine community aspect of things like this. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident, and not doomed to ruin things for the majority of people who come here and enjoy themselves, just keep up the great work that's done here....its greatly appreciated!

  I have an APEX as well, and while it's not the best DVD player out there (not even close) its features are what makes it worth owning (macrovision/region defeats, and it plays mp3's, vcd's and karaoke discs). It's made for a nice backup player in my house.

  think of it this way: how many $4-5 adult video tapes have you seen? any good ones? That's pretty much what you're getting with bargain priced DVD as well, some jewels, but a lot of filler crap, and poor titles. As is always the case......buyer beware!

  well, you find something in the parent's drawers, and then they leave you home by yourself, and you just HAVE to see what's on that videotape stashed in the dresser, and all your friends all have older brothers who have the stuff...actually, i remember Ginger Lynn and Tori Welles stuff as being some of the first videos, and i cant remember for the life of me how or where i acquired them, but look at me now, im hooked!

  I read some stuff about the Cool Devices series, and i'll have to dig up the magazine that had the article, because the episode they reviewed (vol.2 tape)was pretty controversial, from what i remember reading. when i find it, i'll post it

  Think about that the next time you're mad at someone, and you say to them, "im gonna put my foot in your ass!" Toes, seen it, but the whole foot, i dunno, there's something about trying to wedge the heel in that i can imagine would be pretty uncomfortable! lol

  As Saki said, you have to look at the stills on the boxes, if you go by those airbrushed Playboy-looking models on the covers of the movies, you're looking to get screwed. And when a tape advertises "4-hours", that's another good flag that you're going to get AT LEAST 2 hours of shitty filler scenes! That's the only reason im unsure about buying online, i have to rent movies first (on vhs, no sense in being snotty about the quality of porn! lol) to find things i'd like, then, if they're worth the money, and on DVD, pick them up. just my two cents

  Well, if the movie was shot in widescreen aspect ratio, and you're watching the Pan & Scan version(full screen, no "black bars") you're losing somewhere around 30-40% of the onscreen image......just think that could be a good thing in the Adult video case, cutting of the "hairy bobbing manass" or the "pre-ejacuation male fuckface".

  Isn't it like some kind of standard that you're supposed to stay away from the 4 hr comp tapes?? unless they've changed since the last time i've seen one, they're just a couple of good scenes, with lots of really bad filler, closer to 3+ hours of filler. If this has changed, and there's good stuff out there, i'd be interested in hearing! thanks!

  saki, word is that it's all moved to 9th ave...as you walk from Grand Central to Times Square, there used to be a few on the way....now they're just fronts for average xxx fare, not the stores they once were before the mayor cracked the whip, so to speak. The stores are still there, but they've moved away from the Mouse's line of sight =)
