  look james, I'm not mad at you merely frustrated that all these new people calling themselves talent agents or agencies are creating a unfair playing field. Over 75% of the agencies you have listed that are based in california have no state talent agency license. They treat the girls like crap, take their money, inflate their rent and violate every law in the labor code. Yet they are treated like prince and princesses by people that will post their sites. If they want to do the right thing they should go get a license, but then again most of them cant past the background, credit and fingerprint checks. But from what i'm told that may change soon. With all the complaints at DLSE they are now forced to take action against unlicensed activity...

  Kristie, I will speak my opinions anytime I choose to. If you think being Strong's and Cuba cheerleader are going to get you in good favor with Red Light or the other Red Light owned companies, see what loyalty got me when I asked for a new office to get away from Larry.   There are approximately 10 Licensed Agents that handle both Adult Industry and Mainstream. The issue is that a there are six unlicensed talent agencies/management that are booking talent without the legal right to do so. But the rub comes from the industry attorney that is telling them how to divert the law. The advice he is giving them is 100 percent wrong. I heard today that he gave a start up unlicensed agency sample contracts to use knowing the contracts have to have the DLSE state approval stamp. I bet he would change his tune if a "legal document preparation service" started practicing law in his building without a "BAR" license.   The real issue here is that there is nothing wrong with following safety and protecting the talent. I just wish someone was there to watch my back when I was tossed around in "DeBellas Young Fellas" and I would not be suffering with a what appears to going to be a long term neck and back injury. I was in fact an "employee" of RLD but they had me sign a waiver to do the scenes for them. If I knew what I knew now or my so called husband at the time was protecting me I would have been covered under workers comp and my medical needs would be met. Directors should direct not perform.   One of the first steps is find a state licensed agent. Then find a good attorney who really represents the Talent's best interest.   Thanks James for your support snd kind words. The issue has been bought to the fore front because a local industry attorney has been advising people how to go around the talent agency law while it appears that he is trying to use his attorney status as a exemption to the talent management statues. The state is aware of his "advice" and all of the new start ups. I was contacted to see if he represented me and of course he does not nor any of our talent. With he recent workers compensation case, the barrage of talent reporting actions of some talent agencies licensed and unlicensed to the labor board and the protitution case out of florida which is linking several local unlicensed talent agencies to it, it will take time.   Only the unlicensed Talent Agencies come and go. Everytime you turn around someone is opening a talent agency or "Talent Managment" The majority of them are licensed and do not follow the path to get one. I recently learned that a local industry attorney is giving people information on how to avoid the legal requirements and circumvent the talent agency laws. Dont be fooled DLSE is watching very closely on all of the unlicensed people posing as "Talent Managers" while circumventing the law. It is dishearting to find out that an "officer of the court" is part of the probelm. This same industry attorney repesents talent.   If the the right opportunity came along for a g/g or solo I would consider it. All of the negativity with Red Light, Plat X, and Candy Shop caused me to re-think things and take stock of myself. Like I said before what happened to me in De'Bella's Young Fellas scared/injured me so much and I never felt the same about doing B/G scenes again or inter-racial scenes again. Also I have learned that several of the male talent I was exposed to were gang bangers and served time in prison. In fact one is still on parole. It is funny you don't give a alcoholics booze so why do we give sex to a convicted sex offenders. Oh well my opinion only. I think if we don't start being more responsible as a industry we will have more "Chico Wang" type...

  everyone has the right to get better and have another chance. at least she was open enough to go public with her problem. Generation XXX Productions will represent anyone we see fit to. If i start discriminating against people with ADA issues I will loose my talent agency state license.

  Take it from some one who used to work with him on the set and inside redlight: No one on earth thinks he is as good as he is but him. ego as big at the high sierras. He had talent both in front of the camera and behind it but no more. he is a pounder and that is it and really all he has going for him.

  Jewel and my reconciliation had nothing to do with the porn. It was a family matter that was resolved once I decided to get a divorce and move away from my ex-husband. I am a different person now. I am more assertive and driven than I was before. My boyfriend and business partner dialed me into a lot of things that were not good for me and people that were taking advantage of my submissive personality. I'm sure she saw the drastic change for the better and it opened a door to get back together as a family minus the ex-husband.
