  There's quite a few reasons. She was one of the first major porn stars to embrace what she did without any hang ups or embarassment, which resulted in her crossing over into the mainstream successfully. Many famous porn stars of the time before her later left porn and then did a full circle - rejecting the industry and openly talking about the &quot;evil&quot; of it all. She was also very hard working and determined to become number one. In the up and cummers scene she has such an innocence and warmth that not many porn stars possess - a lot of actresses today perform like they're at their own funeral.
