  Wow I guess I touched a nerve. Let me try to clarify some points then: I don't recall ever speaking to you before so I know nothing about you. Yes I'm new to the forum. I hope I'm still allowed to have an opinion despite that fact. Is there a newbie rule that you aren't allowed to comment? They're protesting the way Max's behavior has been used to push an unconstitutional obscenity law and the way so many (supposed) porn fans have been so effortlessly manipulated to mindlessly fall into line to support it.   I'm certainly not trying to demonize the industry. I enjoy kinky porn. I can't stand porn that is boring, unless the model is really hot, like Lacey Duvalle. Why do you think I know so much about Max? I've watched a lot of his stuff and for a time it turned me on. But I was curious about what was going on behind the scenes.   The issue of whether there was consent or not is complicated. I think anyone interested in this topic should watch this documentary entitled Hardcore from Great Britain. The filmmaker follows a porn actress as she makes her way through the porn industry in Los Angeles, and unfortunately for her, she winds up in Max Hardcore's house. At what point does this &quot;consent&quot; become a rape. It certainly changed my mind about what is actually going on in these movies. If you watch this and still think the actresses are consenting then you are just kidding yourself. <link>
