  Premiere is a great program, you can do wonderful stuff on it. Final Cut Pro is not that much more difficult, though, don't be afraid of it ... :)

  Luci Thai is shooting again -- she was in the huge cast assembled for TERA RIDES AGAIN (tentative title, I believe), which is the sequel to REIGN OF TERA. Moi shot the bts for this show, & got to catch up with her ... she is looking great, however NOT doing anal anymore ... like I even care about that, but I know a lot of you do ... the Nyla scene in AF, btw, was not canned, but shot on one of Nyla's rare two-or-three day forays back into the porn quick-money machine ... She isn't interested enough to ever do it full time --- as I & others have observed it, Luci is actually a big fan of sex itself, while her sister ... $$.

  I mourn Peter's loss -- in mere e-mails he proved himself to be extraordinarily humane -- but I applaud the INCREDIBLE efforts by all the remaining editors. That the IAFD even exists has always boggled my mind from day one, & helped make me think my job just might be somewhat worthwhile ... Time lags, whatever.   Well, I think I've said many times before, in what is unfortunately often a rather condescending tone, that while in general I believe in Sturgeon's Law ("99 percent of everything is crap"), I often feel like the percentage raises even higher in porn ... truth be told, porn is the fast-food of filmmaking (& pays like it in many, many cases!), & therefore doesn't attract very many of the best & brightest to its kitchens -- er, ah, "food preparation areas." Also, the girls & the lifestyle that comes with it if you want it is a huge draw across the board to not only the horny yet talented but the bitter & mysogynistic, as well. It's called "reckless disregard," & even if the injured party agreed to participate, the parties responsible for their injury are not automatically shielded. Landis' accidental real-life bloodbath on the set of TWILIGHT ZONE being the most infamous example coming to mind here ... Also, I alluded to this because I thought people knew, but Paul Fishbein has said on Mike South AVN will NOT give coverage to any future volumes of this title. I'm not saying that I find her life decisions very inspiring or worthy of elevating her to Rosa Parks status. But even if, for the sake of argument, she happens to be weak-willed & have gotten herself into the place in life where she's at of her own accord, as you rightly point out, that doesn't justify the actions of the male performer.
