  We are a producer of adult content. There are several reasons that it's hard to get an exact answer. For one, pay rates are somewhat proprietary to studios. For another, rates are highly variable depending on the particular studio, the model in question, the experience and demand of the model, the type of shoot, and all that sort of thing. In hetero porn, the female models typically make anywhere from $200 to $5000 per video. The low end is what an inexperienced model working for a small amateur studio at the very low end of the payscale might make. The high end is for a top, highly in-demand model. They haven't had problems that I know of, but then again, I don't think their fisting videos are in wide retail distribution. Most of the folks I know who produce adult content shy away from content that is considered highly risky just because, in the current political climate, no one wants to risk being a "test case" for the conservative justice department.   Here's what we at cuteboyvideos.com have discovered. Apparently certain postal employees at certain post offices will take it upon themselves to delay, lose, or otherwise misroute mail that they "don't agree with." I spoke with our friends at Pornteam, who have been shipping postal service longer than we have, and they said that they have on many occasions had entire trays or boxes of mail get delayed, sometimes by 1-2 weeks. One of the owner's father spent years working at the postal service, and he intervened.   Well, it isn't all the producers fault. Case in point, we had a large chain that took a large quantity of a couple of our earlier titles, and negotiated favorable terms (cash up front, large quantity = lower price per unit.) They told us that they intended to price the product to move at their 40+ stores. What happened? They swallowed the excellent margin we gave them, and basically quadrupled the price that we sold it to them for. The crazy thing is, the titles still sold extrememly well. But I still wonder if the sales wouldn't have been double if the price had been where they'd originally promised us it would be.   I'm one of the owners of cuteboyvideos.com, and we welcome and appreciate comments and suggestions from the people who purchase adult DVDs, because it helps us when we know what our audience wants. I can also totally agree with just about all of your points. I have heard some people say they like the off-camera direction and think it's "hot", but I think it's inappropriate... a well-edited and well-shot video can effectively cut the stage direction out of the final product, and particularly if the director has a creepy, gravelly voice, it definitely doesn't help the mood :) As for the fake fucking, the issue isn't finding bottoms... actually, for us at least, probably 70% of our guys are versatile, and the rest are pretty ev...
