  <link> (1988): A Japanese flick that dances on the line between cheesy and disturbing, starting out as hardcore (albeit pixelated, which is almost always an immersion ruiner) pornography before suddenly turning into a Guinea Pig clone with heaps of dissection gore, followed by more weird blurred sex acts (including an inspired bit with a fake-looking severed forearm). There's English and German subtitles for it, but the plot is so loose and nonsensical (a woman and her husband's friend believe that the husband's organs have been tainted by the Devil because... he's been obsessing over his music a lot lately) that they aren't exactly a requirement.

  Originally? Sweden, though it was supposedly banned there for a bit. I think it currently only exists in the form of old VHS tapes and grey market DVDs (like the one I had to resort to) that are merely rips of those VHS tapes. You'd think the popularity of Thriller would have gotten it at least one normal modern release, but I guess not (Vibenius apparently being kind of a jerk probably doesn't help).

  <link> (1975): The only other film that Bo Arne Vibenius wrote or directed after Thriller: A Cruel Picture; unlike that, it's overtly pornographic, so there's little in the way of inserts or camera trickery. It's also creepy, weird, and kind of blackly comedic, with a random (well, more than it already is) finale that swerves into action territory (complete with a police helicopter being shot down and exploding) before the twist ending.

  ^^ It was deservedly selling for dirt cheap. That (barely) justified the purchase in my mind, and satiated the masochistic completionist tic that compelled me to look into it again. And yeah, when I tried to beef up the film's IMDB, Wikipedia, etc. pages all of the webpages I could find relating to it and Gregory himself were generic and vague.
