  My favorite film of his as both actor and director is Catwoman. I was also a big fan of Chameleon.

  While a great actor, I also think he is the best actor-turned director that porn industry has seen. He just had his share of duds like any director.

  I think I recall this scene from an 89 F.J. Lincoln movie too. Can't recall the title, but it starred Tori Welles as the leader of a bike gang and Tami was Randy's fiancee, who owned the house the gang was staying at. Not a great movie, but it did have some hot scenes.

  Well, I take that back. "The Tease" wasn't quite as bad as "Bad", but it certainly was no "Catwoman" or "Chameleon". Overall, it was typical for Leslie for this time period (the early 90's) when his budgets were being cut in half.

  Porn with a fast food theme. Porn with a domination/submission theme. More porno takes/homages on deserved porn remakes (Jackie Brown would be a prime one I think) Porn with a voyeurism theme (John Leslie seems to to be the only one that really specializes in these movies, but they're not features) Porn that takes place in a club Porn about porn Dark themed porn (ala Bad Habits and Dog Walker) Overall, the porn market sucks right now. I think it needs to go back to its roots.

  As a huge John Leslie fan, I actually found this movie disappointing. It's not that the sex was bad, it's just the storyline wasn't as strong as I expect from Leslie. All in all, though, I'd compare this more with Leslie duds like "Bad" than his masterpieces like "Catwoman" and "The Chameleon".

  I'm not sure but this is one film that really was butchered to death. The current VCA DVD is only 67 minutes, while the original was 82 minutes, meaning a total of 15 minutes has ben cut. I obtained an original DVD dub and most of the missing footage is the hypnotizing scene with Marc Wallice and Iiesha (I guess it constituted as nonconsentual, borderline rape). Even with the uncut footage, though, I don't think this is one of John Leslie's best.

  Since what VCA categorizes as classics these days doesn't generally fit the mold of Golden Age classics, I'm going to include the following John Leslie movies as must need releases: Second Skin (1989) Laying the Ghost (1991) Angels (1992) Also, why are they discontinuing such classics as "The Catwoman", which is considered by many to be one of the best adult films ever made? To me, it just doesn't make sense.

  To Meatball, I dunno. All my girlfriend personally have thought that the over long sex scenes is what bores them, not the five minutes of plot in between. To Dux, I personally find humor a great diversion in porn. Isn't it nice to have something besides the old "in and out" once in a while?

  I highly recommend almost anything from John Leslie, especially Nightshift Nurses, The Catwoman, Goin' Down Slow, Mad Love, The Chameleon, Strange Curves, Second Skin, Oh, What a Night, Hate to See You Go, Curse of the Catwoman, Angels, Chameleons, Anything That Moves, The Rehearsal, Bad Habits, and Dog Walker. I also recommend some early Paul Thomas movies, such as Beauty and the Beast, The Masseuse, The Enchantress, and Bobby Sox. Other classic 80's hits include Satisfiers of Alpha Blue, Amanda by Night, Lust on the Orient Express, Dixie Ray, Hollywood Star, The Grafenberg Spot, and Behind the Green Door, the Sequel. I highly recommend all of these titles and most all of these titles are also available on DVD.

  Paul Thomas actually does have his share of good movies (The Masseuse, The Enchantress, Bobby Sox). It's just most of his movies, especially of late, have sucked. When it comes to series, though, I used to collect Gag Factor, but haven't gotten any in the last two years or so. Too expensive and you can watch them all on the website.

  When it comes to greatest actors of all time, I think John Leslie is the obvious number one, with Jamie Gillis in a close number two. I'd also second Steven St. Croix for his performance in "Dog Walker" alone. He should've won every acting award handed out that year. When it comes to females, I have to rank Veronica Hart at the very top (the female John Leslie), followed by Annette Haven, Georgina Spelvin, and the great Marilyn Chambers.
