  Hey Robert you have said and proved it all! The technology is there and relatively easy to totally clean up. re-colour, sharpen even slightly re-edit (not cut!) so why not? No pride in their work ? Hey, why not pick up the gauntlet and buy up those films and run them through yourself...could be a great business, I expect you have a few willing punters already! ...And if you want a partner...GIVE ME A CALL!!!

  I have to agree with Black Six...SMOKER deserves a re-release. I have it from video (Videorama) but would be nice to have a new digital copy..GREAT FILM!

  Skin Flicks was a great Damiano film that you could also use as an example that there was sometimes a serious attempt at acting, drama etc! The rape scene is very good indeed (in a believable but non-sick way!) Probably the best performance (acting wise!) from Sharon Mitchell (before losing it on the drugs!) and Jamie Gillis (except Jamie just had so many damm fine performances!) I haven't seen this re-releases to see if it's been cut etc. I have a superb original print from Betamax master on Videorama label that came from Denmark all those years ago (old git!) The print quality is so good I used to play it to show off my Betamax machine in those days along with Diane,Esctasy & Me (another Sharon Mitchell) Health Spa (not a great film just ...

  'Fantasy' is a typical film of that year, yet is has arty 70's titles and music. I rember the 'Bath Tub' scene rather well. All in all the film has a sort of 'Twilight Zone of Porn' feel. It is one of my favourites though. I've got it on orginal Betamax, not DVD re-release. I would be interested to see if it is intact, as many are cut now, for a whole load of reasons!
