  Pornstar twitter accounts used to be a great way to find out what scenes or films they had coming out or were shooting and where they were next making appearances, with the added bonus of the occasional candid or BTS shot. Over the last few months, this has changed. Now the vast majority of posts are telling you about onlyfans or a paid Snapchat, flyers for sexpos etc are retweeted about 30 times per event and there's very little about any shoots other than retweeted official releases. It's a shame.

  The problem I have with the set ups isn't that I don't like porn with a story it's that, since the early 2000s, porn has gone nearly 100% gonzo and as a result porn performers have no idea how to act. There's nothing erotic about two (or more) bad actors saying lines at each other, particularly if those lines are themselves awful. This criticism applies even more to anything by Lansky - does anyone find the usual "my boyfriend was away for work" narration and lead-in anything but irritating?

  The worst one I've seen recently is Addison Lee. Probably not a problem for the US but ridiculous if you're from the UK/London (it's a well known minicab company over here).

  It's just good old fashioned marketing - just look at the rapid increase in posts on this thread since she raised this. Not sure it works long term, though, as after a while people will stop following a star that keeps promising things but never delivers.   Isn't Woodman sitting on another DP scene of hers? He posted a pic of it in her forum entry on his site back when I was a member about a year and a half/two years ago. It wasn't the casting scene but a properly filmed scene. Of course, with PW that doesn't mean it'll ever be released any time soon, but it does exist. Re the Penthouse thing, I think they work their girls really hard so there really isn't any time for them to shoot for anyone else- I recall both Nikki Benz and Nicole Aniston vanished from the scene the year they were touring with Penthouse.

  Yep, that's right. Tease a scene for months but don't release it for the conceivable future? Pirates' fault. Release a scene you've been hyping for months but cut it off mid-way? Pirates' fault. Make scenes available to your customers only in certain ways that force them to keep up their subscriptions month to month and have to put up with the spinning circle of doom? Pirates' fault. Or maybe, just maybe, the reason people choose not to bother watching your stuff through your website (and so choose to pirate them) is because you so consistently muck them around that they feel ripped off. It really is a mystery ......

  ^^ I'd also add two other aspects - the dominance of gonzo and, perhaps related, the complete absence of actual erotic performance. Just as a test, compare an 80s classic with Kay Parker or Honey Wilder with a more recent MILF themed flick (not teenybopper I know but bear with me). The older films set up an erotic scenario with care and, importantly, decent performances that help that along. These days? You get a 3 minute intro where the actress awkwardly explains the male talent is not a biological relative, gets stuck in a compromising position and, hey ho, they fuck. Replace the MILF performer with a 19/20 year old that really can't act and what do you get? Zero build up, no eroticism and something that's more suited to the nature channe...

  As long as it's not Brazzers - I couldn't take the usual ridiculous and unpredictable lag time between shooting and release of the scene. Any of the Lansky sites would be fine, but unlikely without their now sadly standard young naf storyline. On that basis, I vote Archangel or Elegant Angel off the list. Would personally prefer Hard X.

  Not sure how many of you are UK or US based but the BBC's approach on Chyna's passing was deplorable. Their headlines have all referred to her as a wrestler and pornstar. This, frankly, is nothing less than a blatant play to paint this poor lady as being a curio. Clearly she had her issues, and I was personally never comfortable with her entry into porn (it always seemed desperate decision rather than a personal choice) but to pigeonhole someone that was such an icon and has achieved so much in this way is glib at best and frankly the worst kind of moralistic finger pointing. OK, rant over, but it really hacked me off.

  Lexi is rapidly going from one of my favourites to being close to my absolute favourite girl in the industry at the moment. While I'm not a fan of the way some studios (and AFM) are trying to cast her as a MILF (no, M Dorcel, she is not over 40), I do like the way she's always in control and takes no sh*t - an attitude far beyond her young age. Hope we see more of her for years to come, she's great.

  Lexi is really going for it while she's over in the US. I hope she manages to keep her feisty and cheeky personality and doesn't get jaded (check out the way she consistently beats Pierre W at his own game for a great example of what I mean). She's absolutely gorgeous and seems to be amazing fun. Let's hope she stays that way.

  I'd agree that for the most part it has no impact at all. Bear in mind, my don't necessarily know what that "real life" personality is beyond what we see in BTS or in social media. Certainly in the age of almost 100% gonzo the performers' personalities are more relevant than when it was all scripted but that tends to go more to their confidence and sexuality than whether they're a nice person. There are exceptions of course but I don't personally find the fact that I disagree with almost everything one of my favourite pornstars ever says on Twitter stops me enjoying her scenes.

  Although it's great to see new sites other than the usual Manwin stuff, I do have a few issues with Tushy that I thought I'd raise in the vague hope they'd think about them: (A) please have a bit more variety in the ladies on your site. Yes, Kendra and Cherie were great coups but why is almost every other girl a slim 20 year old? Curves and age are not always niche; (B) change your scenes. Every scene follows such a set menu of positions it is getting dull (doubt me?
