About
Aside from being a consumer, I'm intrigued about the industry, the people, the politics, societal impact, and so on. My only agenda is to learn -- simply for the sake of knowing, understanding, and appreciating.Recent Forum Posts
- The thing that so annoys me while watching porn. 10/9/2008 10:32:22 AM Albarellus wrote: Three things that ruin porn for me: when you're pale and chubby and your tatoos suck and your dick is small it doesn't mean the average customer happily imagines himself to be you. LMAO -- because Albarellus is so spot on here. Well said.

Nor do I doubt Dana tires of reading rhapsodies about her breasts, butt, and sniglet. But there's nothing I can add regarding those ASSets that hasn't been expressed countless times before. (Well, that's not true -- I probably could!) Seriously. What makes this photo great and unique and (comparatively) rare is that it allows me (and others) to see Dana in a "normal," non-porn light -- and to behold things previously unnoticed or unappreciated.

And -- whoa -- check out those beautiful clavicles you have! See -- there is so much of, about, and within Dana to appreciate! BTW Dana, it's off-topic somewhat, and I'm sure you tire of hearing such things (given you probably have little control of it), but I would love to see you and Amber Rayne in a g/g. Together, I think your enthusiasm and (hopefully) chemistry would be explosive. - Dearest DeArmond.. 9/27/2008 4:13:30 PM Just found this appreciation thread. So I thought I'd contribute. I discovered Dana in July 2006 on Kink.com (scene with Sandra Romain). At that time, these scenes were the most erotic, exciting, and inventive thing I had seen (Dana bound to post as submissive wearing elaborate mouth spreader apparatus). But it was her post-interview with Sandra that really got my attention. I was instantly intrigued with Dana. I Googled to learn more. And the more I learned, the more I realized how spot on my initial reaction was. Having exchanged a few substantive emails with Dana via MySpace, my sentiments were confirmed: Dana is kind, intelligent, strong, incurably honest, and authentic beyond compare. -- Steve
- is normal sex gone from porn? 5/6/2007 2:15:56 PM Plain old sex seems to be quite rare. I have some old Ginger Lynn video tapes from the 80s. Every so often, I dust it off. It's so tame by today's fare -- anal was more discreet (not in your face). There's no blow-bang, no slapping, spitting, etc. Personally, I noticed a change when I first started watching Rocco and Buttman series scenes, around 1994 or so. From my experience, tame porn doesn't do much for me; thus, I think it has raised the floor for what will get me off. I suspect I'm not unique in this regard.
- Your process of watching a porn movie 5/5/2007 12:22:16 PM It depends whether the meter is running or not. I both own (DVDs) and subscribe (AEBN. etc). On the subscription model, I determine what title I want to watch (based on performer, director, category) and then quickly "scan" to find a scene, or part of of a scene, that appeals to me. Also, sometimes I will check out reviews to give me an idea about what the scene is like. If it's a DVD, I watch the whole thing (if I'm disciplined), and then go back for "hot sections."
- Condoms in porn? Does it bother you? 5/5/2007 12:14:14 PM Condoms don't do it for me. But beyond what stimulates me (or doesn't, in this case), it's important that the HIV/VD testing continue with a zero tolerance regimen. I might be wrong (if so, correct me), but condoms are not worn in porn to prevent pregnancy. It's all about individual health, industry health, and societal health. Funny. When I see a condom in a scene, I quickly fast-forward. But I never forget why I see it. And that's important. I think the industry should set a good example (pre- or post-video PSAs (public service announcements) in either text or audio/video form. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. It seems like a win-win-win for everyone. I don't see a downside.
