- Gay Anime? 7/25/2001 3:11 AM I know of two anime series that are gay-oriented ("shonen ai" category, "boy's love"), but neither are as explicit as you may be interested in: "Bronze Zetsui" and "Kizuna"- but I am not sure on the spelling. Apparently, they are worth watching if you are an adolescent girl, since that makes up the larger population that watches that type. There are gay themes in several other serilaized anime- CLAMP especially comes to mind, though the American version of "Card Captor Sakura" at least does away with the issue (too much for the kiddies, at least in Fox's mind). CLAMP's other main anime that made it to America, "Sailor Moon," is likewise strictly hetero on these shores. But, almost...
