  I noticed the other day that most scenes these days have the guy pulling out or getting to the edge on a blowjob and then jerking themselves to ejaculation. For me this is a real let down - I prefer it when the ladies take things in hand (or mouth, or both) at the end. I find that much more erotic. What's the general feeling? Is there an actual term for the difference in ending?

  I don't believe it's to do with not having guts to go to an adult section, and I agree that if you have a problem walking up to the rack with the world ADULT above it then that's a whole different issue. I like hardcore covers as you can see more of what you are getting but any video store that doesn't concentrate entirely on adult films will need to be aware that they will get a mix of customers. Now they can choose not to stock XXX titles but I'd much rather they had reversable softcore covers on show so that they could stock titles. I'm sure publishers would prefer the increase in outlets as well. In addition, as I said before, there's the displaying them in the home scenario.

  I bought a DVD once (swapped a while ago now) called Lip Service, which had reversable hardcore and softcore covers - I thought this was a great idea. It meant that the title could be shown on the shelves of the shops over here that wouldn't show the full-graphic covers and it also means your films don't have to live in the porn stash - they can be out on the living room shelves next to mainstream for all to see. Thoughts?

  Yep, we have and rightly so. In the same way we've forgotten PCs without hard drives and command line interfaces. Plus, there's usually a big difference in price between tape and DVD. What do people think about the idea of 16:9 'superbit' discs with no extras but the highest possible picture and sound quality?

  Just caught this thread. I don't think fans are too demanding, we just like things to be as good as possible. That said, I'm not bothered about 5.1 audio on porn but how about anamorphic 16:9 as standard? Also, just like regular movies, many of the extras aren't worth watching. Bonus scenes from other big titles and trailers are by far the best things. Forget the virtual rooms and stick to easy to navigate, well-designed menus.

  Back in the mid-eighties a friend of mine lent me a tape with various trailers on it. One of these was for a Ginger Lynn film called something like Merlin the Magician. Although the trailer was in German, from what I could gather there was a guy on stage as a magician/mind reader type who actually found he could do the stuff for real and he sent volunteers into various sexual fantasies. I think one had Ginger walking in the desert and suddenly capture by Dr Who-style spacemen. I always meant to watch this one - the images have stuck with me until today. Can anyone confirm: A - I'm not going mad and I did see this B - The name of the film and any info C - If it or any scenes are on DVD? C. Topic Moved by - flash on Nov 21 2019

  Actually...for the ultimate test. Of the compliations, which has the most boy/girl stuff? Don't get me wrong, I love lesbian scenes, but one per disc is fine for me. Or will I be better off with a feature? Funny, I never knew I was so exacting when it came to porn! :-)
