  I ran a search for this but turned up nothing, so hopefully it hasn't come up yet. I've noticed a fair number of performers sport tattoos of black five-pointed stars - they show up on various parts of the body and in various sizes and configurations, but all look eerily similar. Is this a "thing" in the porn industry and does it denote something specific, or is it just coincidence?

No offense to any of the performers, but comparing the sensual settings and glossy quality of earlier 3rd Degree and Zero Tolerance products (Alektra Blue, Bree Olsen, Jenna Haze) to more recent releases, everything seems to have grown more dingy and cheap. Why do so many directors use exclusively genital close-ups for the alternate angle?   Anyone seen this DVD? I can't find a single review online, and would like to know more before maybe buying a copy. The suggestion is that it features real couples filmed while making love, but if it's just regular porn under the guise of "couple-hood" I won't bother. Any indications? Thanks. PS: I'm talking about the Combat Zone film, not the gay series by the same name.

  Interesting topic. Personally I'm not too concerned about seeing "love" in porn, but it would be nice to see regular porn that was a little less aggressive (and acrobatic) than what seems to be the norm these days. I'm not talking about features or amateur/reality porn (a la Tony Comstock), but rather regular porn featuring porn stars, just having "normal" sex as opposed to the somewhat violent, frantic variety we see in most movies (not that I have anything against this, but I'm looking for some variety). Think "Art of Kissing", only in b/g format. If anyone has suggestions for DVDs, these would be welcome.

  Thanks for the response, Peach. I'll definitely be doing business with your store in future. It is surprising that, with so many adult movie stars coming from Central and Eastern Europe these days, the DVD industry in these countries have not expanded their repertoire of genres to include interactive/virtual sex movies. Certainly their home-grown clientele might be interested, but I am sure that I am not the only foreign buyer who enjoys hearing performers speak directly into the camera using languages other than English (comprehension is not important, you understand - the interest lies in the "otherness" as compared to US products, to which one becomes a bit accustomed after a while...).   When I first wanted to order an FTV title from this distributor I had a very difficult time getting the online order system to work. However, once I alerted them to the problem, not only was the matter seen to but I was allowed to order an additional DVD for free. Obviously this does not negate the problems others have reported, but it may be noted for interest.

  I have a very specific request for information, and would appreciate some knowledgable input. I am looking for interactive/virtual sex dvd's in which performers employ languages other than English, preferably European languages (including Central and Eastern Europe). This does not seem to be a significant genre outside of the US - apart from a small handful of French and German titles I have not been able to find anything thus far. Nonetheless, if anyone has information about titles and/or online distributors of non-English language interactive DVD's, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
