  It seems that the 10 DVDs/month output from Private is lagging behind schedule. I thought the plan was to have 5 titles out in the middle of the month and 5 more during the last week of the month. Has there been a delay in production? Should we expect the September titles to be on schedule? There are some really great titles in the works and I'm getting anxious!

  Anabolic's Gangbang Girl series seems to be eagerly anticipated by some of you gents. I thought I'd pass along my observation that the first of these DVDs are now in stock at AdultDVDEmpire. Furthermore, they appear to be good values, as each DVD contains 2 volumes in the series for $24.95 (street).   It has been my experience that the content and production values of most Private titles are so much better than the vast majority of adult DVDs that I don't mind the price. In fact Private's releases are probably the only ones out there I'll purchase without hesitation (on the day they hit the web sites). I've seldom if ever been let down by this studio.

  I can start a short list of playback devices that can play the MPEG audio on the above-mentioned Private titles. Perhaps others here can help build a 'players to buy/players to avoid' list. Unless your primary interest is upgrading DVD playback on your computer, I'd recommend replacing your Toshiba 3006. There are many great players out there now for less than $250 (including new Toshibas) that will solve your sound problem and outperform your 3006 in other respects as well. The following players definately support MPEG audio: Toshiba 2109 (through RCA stereo outputs) iMac DV Dell Inspiron 3500 laptop w/ DVD-ROM

  Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. The audio settings you need to adjust are in the setup menu on your Toshiba player. Which model Tosiba are you using? Older models will only allow access to the setup menu when playback is stopped. I'm quite certain this will work for you, though you will need to have audio cables hooked up from the stereo analog outputs on the Toshiba. My DVD-ROM drive handles the sound on these discs. I suppose it's possible that your decoder won't handle MPEG format sound, though that would be a tad unusual.
