  • Pussy: Haired, Shaved or Landing Strip? 3/26/2011 12:33:43 AM
With a favorite performer (usually based on ass, boob, and face mostly) I don't really care... but I do like it when a favorite porn star changes it up with the different styles from time to time. But yeah, generally speaking from watching porn I do prefer the pubic region to be manicured for better viewing purposes.

Yet, if that made thing is available for free, how many people do you suppose will pay for it? Some will, and many will not. As an experiment, open up two kool-aide stands. Serve the same product in both booths, but in one of them charge a dollar a cup and in the other give away the drinks for free. See which stand gets the longest lines. Perhaps if the free stand were named Jonestown kool-aide or something, it might have shorter lines...

Cassandra, that is a real sound plan. As much as I love and admire and appreciate all the work that you have done, and I can honestly say that you are my favorite performer ever, you should always do what is best for yourself. As I am sure you are sooo very much aware, the types of problems/disorders that you have are a constant battle, and anything that you can do to make it easier on yourself is worth it. I wish you well, and hope that everything works out so that you can find peace, happiness, and fulfillment in your life. Much love to you!

I understand the companies being pissed. Edited by - ntfighter on 5/10/2010 1:27:42 PM It would not. Someone with their hand out grabbing everything they can get would naturally be selfish, and would not think (or care at all) that their actions have any effect on others. But when companies start losing money, jobs get cut, prices are increased for products, and they may go out of business altogether.

If this genre existed, it would be my favorite by far. I would highly recommend checking out Adrenalyn in Doctor Adventures vol. 2.

The impulse at the base of this concern is to punish. To bring them down to the miserable level of good people. That is one way to look at it. I think that it is an overly complicated view point full of assumptions, paranoia, and BS. It is really simple - don't take things that do not belong to you.
  • QUAGGING - why hated? 5/9/2010 7:18:01 PM
Cassandra Calogera is very good with the rough bj's and has quagged (is that acceptable, or is it only quagging?) in several of her scenes, particularly Jerk Off Material 2. Hers doesn't sound like "quack quack quack" though, its more of a "glrup glrup glrup" sound.

It is illegal for ANYONE to violate any of the rights provided by the copyright law to the copyright holder... actually enforcing it is another matter, but there is no doubt that it is ALWAYS illegal to steal copyrighted material no matter where the theft may occur.

It is so funny reading any article that CHAMPIONS piracy, and all the fools that cheer it. All these people really want is to have things for free available to them, and yet they sometimes take these laughable airs that they are standing up for the little people being used and abused by big business and the government.... it is just pathetic and asinine. Why should the industries effected by piracy have to prove a thing - when you download or share copyrighted material without the owner's consent, you are breaking the law. The bottom line is that if the activity is illegal, that activity should not be tolerated, much less championed as if it is a good thing that does no harm.
  • Porn is a dying industry. 5/2/2010 1:13:48 AM
^^ The internet seems to be both a gift and a curse to porn. The gift is exposure to a larger audience. The curse is that just about every material being shot is available for free. It is hard to sell anything that can be gotten for free, so how exactly are companies supposed to make a profit if their merchandise is constantly being made available for free? What business module is supposed to work in this type of environment?
  • Porn is a dying industry. 5/1/2010 4:01:49 PM
Lets all stop pretending that there is absolutely any circumstance, reason, or rationalization around the simple fact that when you download or share copyrighted material without the owner's consent, you are breaking the law. And it is just stupid and naive to believe that doing this sort of illegal activity would not have any negative effect on the industry that is being robbed. When porn companies spend money to prevent illegal downloads, that cost can be traced back directly to everyone that illegally downloaded materials. So anyone that says "I didn't cost the industry a penny" is just being foolish.

^^ I mostly agree with all of that. Especially the performers part. I buy porn more based on who is in it than who made it. But I do not think that porn really has the concert type thing to fall back on. There is feature dancing, and going on tour to attend events and for promotion but those things will only bring about a fraction of cash that a concert tour can bring. The "fat cats" are a necessary evil in porn because they are the ones that provide the funding. Porn stars can create their own sites, and in large part film their own content, but it still takes much money. Porn is also not nearly as mainstream as music is - musicians can make bank with endorsement deals, porn stars are without that option. I'm sort of interested t...

Which is obvious, but doesn't serve to buttress their argument so it's ignored. That argument works both ways, which is also obvious, and defeats the "argument" because it does not prove a thing. It is true. Some people take the free porn on the basis that they never had any intention of buying it. Some take the free porn that they had intended to buy simply because it was available for free. There is nothing to prove what the higher percentage is - are there more people taking stuff they never intended on buying, or are there more people taking stuff that they woul...

I fail to see how it could NOT be considered anything but a loss to have your product available for free. If given a choice of getting the same thing for free or for a fee, what choice do you think the majority of the people will make? I think most will know that you should pay for the products that you like and want, but if the product is free and available many will make excuses as to why they "deserve" to have it. This topic and thread is full of rationalizations, but it really does seem ludicrous that there are people that actually believe that porn available for free will not hurt the porn industry. It does hurt those that produce porn and everyone involved in porn. For those that think it isn't THAT bad, have some empathy an...

I didn't pretend to be stating any kind of a fact, just a personal observation made because I have seen people on these boards that ask questions like "why pay for porn?". There is absolutely no evidence in existence that will EVER show the internet negatively impacted porn. In fact, the evidence would only point to the internet increasing the sales of porn. But at one time the idea that Rome would ever fall was also laughable. Shit happens. The porn industry appears to be dying the death of a million little cuts... how many hundreds? thousands? millions even? of people out there who own porn, but has never purchased porn are there? It seems that number is on the rise. It seems that there is a generation being born that feels entitled to tak...
