  Incidentally, I just tried to rejoin netdvdflix, the sign up page did not crap when I entered my zip code, but I had forgotten how expensive their rates were, with no guarantee that I would ever even get a movie from them. No way to know if a movie is available until it is added to one's cue. I would hate to join, have my card charged, and then find out the handful of movies I want are all unavailable. Which is one of the reasons I quit them the first time. So, I did not go any farther with that. Bleep

  Used to be with netdvdflix. They went down for months, came back, charged my credit card, said all the dvds in my queue were still out! Ditched them. Went to nymmedia. Pretty good service, very sparse selection of Dirk Yates Private Collections and any Active Duty videos. Have had an empty queue for a month or so. Cancelled membership last night. Today, they sent me an email said they were returning my last month's rental fee. Wow, great service. Have tried to sign up with several other online rental sites. Either they have no selection that interests me, or they will not rent to my zip code, although the 2 aforementioned companies would!   I am a big fan of this guy's DVDs, which feature real military men. A big turn on of mine, okay?   Also, they are now apparently showing up on a credit card statement as " DVD VIDEOS OF AMERICA". Don't know why. Don't care. After 3+ months, they simply pick up as if nothing happened. And I still can not get anything, 20+ DVDs on my list. But, they can charge me. May be time to ditch them. Bleep

  Well, earlier today, I could at least get on line and mess with varying degrees of success with my queue. Later, my password was rejected. My email and zip code were rejected, "can not find account"! Just now, I was only able to find the site. Clicking on almost anything brought up a message "The connection to Netdvdflix was unexpectedly terminated. Some date may have been transferred". Wannna bet the site is inaccessible in a few hours?   Well, they are currently online. I went to my rental queue using my old user name & password. Same movies. Okay. Tried to rearrange them in the order I wanted. And....no, hell, no. The rental queue STILL does not work properly after 3 months to fix it. Incredible. Have gotten no email from them, either. Looks like SNAFU over there. Bleep

  I just tried Netdvdflix emails, 3 of them, to be exact. No, no and no. Still not working. Let's keep each other informed if, when the site is fully functional. And what, if anything, is done to retain customers by the owner. Oh, and when it is up, if ever, if they fixed the rental queue, which never worked for anyone of us, apparently. Bleep

  Unreal. Down for three months. Now back up with no on site explanation. I just joined Nymmedia, and now these guys show back up. They're gonna have to do a lot to convince me to stay with them.

  FWIW the name for Netdvdflix has been turned over to some company called "Godaddy". For someone else to use eventually, I suppose. I called the guy at Netdvdflix on several times. Everytime, he assured me they were coming back. Upgraders brought in a virus, etc. 3 months later, bye bye. So, any one know any alternatives that will rent to the bible belt? DVDempire won't. Tried XrentDVD. They would, but wanted a monthly fee regardless of number of rentals. Any dvd that interested me was, of course, rented out. No way of knowing if /when I would actually get anything. But I had to pay the fee regardless. Bleep
