However, the last statistic I read on households with DVD players was still less than 2/3 of them had DVD players. Another statistic from a survey stated only 24% of those that purchased mainstream DVDs did so for the "extras" and that the vast majority had started purchasing DVDs b/c of trends towards that format.   I very much appreciate Astro's "False Advertising" and the "problem DVD" categories. To me, they are invaluable pieces of information. Speaking from within a production company, I can say that more often than not, it is by accident or carelessness in the arena of quality check. With respect to boxcover art...usually the artist is given a book containing thousands of chromes. Creative freedom lets him/her choose and design the box. Problem comes when the director or someone else doesn't step up and say "hey, this girl isn't the lead person."
