Yeah, Gary at ADM seems to be a great guy. I've had a few additional email exchanges with him since this came down and he is trying to do the right thing. Unfortunately he feels his hands are somewhat tied. A lot of the DVD's being sold on ADM now are actually from DVD retailers, mostly smaller ones but they usually have their own sites as well. So they may be the ones applying the pressure as I can't see why individuals sending out a dvd here and there would be too overly concerned especially if they package right. And it looks like El Paso is not covered by the ban so... go figure.

I feel for you man. Texas just got dropped from ADM as well - well almost all of Texas except for El Paso? go figure - guess they don't need porn down there so close to the border. We've got porn shops galore here yet people are scared to send it here - the fears got everyone goin' crazy. Time to get out there and help make a change or it will definetely get worse. moveon.org - check it.

Ok, so ADM has just changed it's policies and is now restricting Texas buyers from purchasing on their site. They have taken it upon themselves to deactivate accounts without prior warning or explanation, which I find just a tad bit unnerving to say the least. Luckily I have only been selling on the site so they have deemed it ok for me to stay - I assume as long as I just keep selling. After further pressing they did provide me with a brief explanation below: "The laws in Texas haven't changed, but John Ashcroft, who is engaged in a crusade against porn to satisfy his political base, has decided that the easiest way to prosecute adult retailers is to have adult DVDs shipped to locales in the country with very strict anti-obscenity st...
