Because they are going for the “cinematic” look on their scenes. They employ professional cameras and lenses and shoot at a wide open aperture from f/2.8 and lower to achieve a very shallow depth of field. By doing that, they can shoot the scene with minimal lighting. It’s an aesthetic look and i agree sometimes it doesn’t lend well to a porn scene when you need to have sharp focus from head to toe. I watched her VRSpy scene. The whole anal thing does not lend well to VR imo. The only way you could get a good shot of the penetration is either doggy or reverse cowgirl. So she pretty much has her face away and not seen. To me, facial expressions is much more important than rear/back shots especially in VR. I don’t care for anal, i care about Melanie’s face in the shot at all times. And boy, does she looks stunningly gorgeous.
