They rarely respond to their adoring public via mail. She probably never saw it anyway, because the fan clubs from what I can tell are just ronts run by someone else to make money off of the adult film star's name. I was curious if anyone here lives near an ex-porn star. As luck would have it(good or bad, depending on how you look at it), Barbara Dare lives about a block from me, and Whenever I see her I want to say hello, but I can work up the nerve to do so, because if she no longer wants anything to do with the industry she may not feel comfortable knowing that there is some guy who knows who she is and where she lives. So I was wondering if most retired adult film stars try to disassociate themselves from the business or do the majority of them accept that people may know them, and are receptive to being reconized. Any input on this would be appreciated.
