  Until recently, LFP (Hustler, VCA, and associated labels) have had their DVDs replicated in China. This is no longer the case. The replicator in China shipped all the masters back to LFP but they have gone missing in transit, and it has forced LFP to re-master every single title before replication can begin. So, if you're ordering any Hustler or VCA title and it is on forever backorder, this is the reason. They're going about 20 re-masters per week, which means it's going to take about 6 months total to get the entire catalogue done. I have been waiting for "Shock" and "The Chameleon" and am still waiting. Eventually, they'll arrive. Just thought I'd pass this on for anyone in similar circumstances.

  A major studio has cut off AllDelight from buying direct. He sells out of his garage, and he's been selling the stuff far below industry standard, which ends up burning the quality of the product.   Many websites pre-sell titles, yes indeed, but this is different... For instance, they have a movie titled "Layout" listed for pre-release http://www.adultdvdmarketplace.com/dvd_view_134422.html with a release date of April 25 listed. Now, I just googled that movie title with its star Briana Banks, and NOTHING comes up ANYWHERE! Not even on the Vivid website, or the official Briana Banks website!!! See what I mean???   I have noticed something... Adult DVD Marketplace seller DVDMoviesDirect has a ton of upcoming Vivid, Club Jenna, Hustler, and VCA titles listed that won't even be released until late April. I pre-ordered my copy of Kim Kardashian way back on February 8, and no other site had it listed until 10 days later! I also pre-ordered "Debbie Does Dallas Again" 2 weeks ago, again before any other website had it. How would any website get all those titles listed in advance if they didn't have a direct pipeline to Vivid, Hustler, and VCA? Edited by - BACMUSA on Mar 16 2007

  I just noticed that Adult DVD Marketplace has "Debbie Does Dallas Again" starring Stefani Morgan, and there are 3 listings for it. One is for just a regular DVD, another is for Blu-Ray DVD, and a third for HD-DVD. Can anyone elaborate on the differences?

  I'd go right to your postmaster, and tell them the DVD is lost, show them proof of your payment and the tracking info, etc. The post office owes you the money. Since they're already admitted to the screw up they should just reimburse you. I bet ADM took down that listing because they had no idea they were selling an edited movie. Once word got out, I bet buyers were plenty mad.

  Time to email ADM? If the buyer bought it - and the seller sent it - (with proof of a USPS tracking #) - then I don't understand why ADM would be involved... I would call your post office or make it a point to speak with your mailman directly, and ask him/her why it was marked "refused", and who supposedly "refused" it.

  The best movie I ever saw in this vein was a 1985 flick called "Bi-Sexual Fantasies" which is exactly the type of contact you're describing. This movie was one of a few done by Catalina, and was shot on film. The transfer to DVD is absolutely beautiful. Let me know what you think after you've watched it. I'd be curious to hear your opinion. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

  I bought one on Adult DVD Marketplace called "Caballero Classics: Kay Parker" (it's 4 full length DVD movies in a set all starring Kay Parker). Quite a nice set. The movies I got in the set were: Nasty Nurses, Private Teacher, Sex Games, and The Young Like It Hot.

  In the 1970s and early 80s there were no video tape players, VHS didn't exist for the masses yet. The adult movies were not yet being made for viewing at home. Once the mall cineplex was born, old-fashioned rundown movie theaters shut down for lack of business and were re-opened to show adult movies. Those scenes were edited down to accomodate the audience in a theater, since there had to be the pretense of a storyline to go along with the sex. (By the way, I recently found out why the audio being spoken never matched the mouth of the person supposedly speaking or moaning during sex - these movies were made in France and Germany, so they had to do a special over-dub audio track in English for American audiences.)   Walter, I couldn't agree more. I had an old VHS copy of "Suzy Randall's Stud Hunters" and through the years it was lost. When I finally found it again on DVD, it looked worse than I remember the VHS tape being! Part of the problem with this particular one is they just grabbed the first copy of the film they could get their hands on for the transfer. Had they gone back to the master, I'm sure it would look much better on DVD. So much for product integrity. Caballero has been issuing some nice clean re-mastered stuff in the past few months. DVD Movies Direct (an "adult dvd marketplace" seller) lists about 300 classic titles from Caballero, and they're all around $5 to $6, so I've been slowly building up a nice collecti...

  On Adult DVD Marketplace, the sellers go from extremely great to horribly poor. My personal experiences: DVD Movies Direct - EXCELLENT. Never had a problem. Consistently the best. MILLENIUM_MOVIES - EXCELLENT. Never had a problem. Globalflix - EXCELLENT. Never had a problem. AllDelight - EXCELLENT. Never had a problem. FilthyDVDs - HORRIBLE. They don't answer emails. Never got the order. Had to request refund from the website (which I got immediately).

  I've been buyin movies from DVD Movies Direct for 3 years now, and never had a problem. The lady in charge there has always been helpful and honest. However, I can't say the same for the US Postal Service!! I've had a few packages and such go lost and/or arrive damaged in the recent past. My guess is if the postal service was privately run we'd all be a lot happier with them.
