  A friend of mine passed on a copy of something called The Taunting that has some S & M scenes in a haunted house with this cute "white" ghost gal, who pops up here and there. The problem is she's on the cover and does very little in the feature. Thus, she ends ups with a "solo" bit filmed later and included in the special features of the DVD---B0B/The Film Snob

  My favorite cover from something recent (2005) was for something called Harlot with two soft-core images of Aurora Snow that were well-balanced with limited graphics on the front cover, then hardcore imagery and plenty of info on the back cover---B0B/The Film Snob

  Yep, those early Marilyn Chambers flixxx landed her enough recognition so that she got the lead roll in Cronenberg's mainstream horror film, Rabid, in 1977. I've never seen it but it's got **1/2 in one of those Leonard Maltin Movie Guides. Also, I am curious as to how many women watched Insatiable back in the day?---B0B, The Film Snob

  Over the last few years, I've watched a couple of Kris Kramski films that might make your list: Models had a sort of slacker photographer story that worked well with the sex scenes; Kramski attempted a version of Belle de Jour that Luis Bunuel had co-adapted and directed in 1967. Watch both versions for an interesting double feature---B0B---The Film Snob

  I recently watched that Inside Deep Throat documentary. I can believe that the film only cost $25,000 to make but the $660 million gross seemed a bit far-fetched. In any case, the film made a helluvalotta money compared to its meager budget. And all the hoopla the film genenrated certainly left its mark on our culture---B0B The Film SN0B

  In the mid 1970s, I saw a porn short on 8mm called The Secret Spanking Cult about the same time my Dad took my under-aged ass to a double feature of Inserts and Last Tango In Paris. These days, I look for porn films like Last Tango that incorporate the sexual situations into something resembling real life and not many films fit this category or even attempt to achieve this goal. Classic porn like Babylon Pink fits the mold and actually has some cultural merit. Of the newer stuff, I kinda liked that film with Raylene called Busted for its attempt at incorporating the hard-core scenes into a plot that's sexually themed. I dunno. If any new films/dvds out there approach Babylon Pink in the way that I described, let me know of a few titles---B0...

  I have about 150 porn DVDs and 50 on VHS. Multiply that number by about 10 for mainstream films. I have been a film buff for most of my adult life, which includes some dabbling with porn. In my late teens and early twenties, I saw a bunch of films that are now considered Classic Porn---Sex Boat, 800 Fantasy Lane, October Silk, to name a few. These days, I am always a few years behind since I refuse to pay a whole lot for these movies. Yet, the industry fascinates me. I'll likely do more reading on this site than posting, so thanx to the mods for running a great site---B0B

  Hey Backdoorman---I have a few of the Laure Sinclair films on VHS---The Fever of Laure (La Flevre de Laure)---The Maze (Le Labyrinthe)---and something with Skin in the title with Christophe. The third one was in its original French language so I enjoyed that one the most. The first two starring the ravishing Laure Sinclair were dubbed in English. Of the two, The Maze would be my choice---B0B
