  • Does the "disclaimer" need to be on the box? 4/11/2003 12:23 PM
section 2257 of title 18 is the code that I was trying to think of. After that it usually states the name of the movie and address of where the records are showing the legit age of the actors/actress in the movies. I just wanna make sure my buddy doesn't get screwed. I can't see anything wrong with it not being displayed on the boxes. These are the original dvds.

A friend is selling his DVDs to a porn shop and since he had so many, he didn't keep the boxes. He got dvd boxes and even printed the covers from adult dvd empire with suprising results. Although the little dinky writing is not legable. There is on every cover, the disclaimer (I think thats what its called) with the claim of them being before a certain date or after. Each on is similar but still different. Question is, do those HAVE to be on there or could he put a sticker stating whatever it says, on a long thin sticker or something of that nature. Does it even HAVE TO BE displayed at all? This is really slowing him up on the completion of the sale of his DVDs, because the owner and him don't know if its a "bustable" thing. Thank...
