  Thanks for all the advice but I have not been able to try it yet. In August I fell from a ladder and hit the back of my head causing a very large hematoma--I applied Ice and all seemed Ok. I saw a Neurologist to be sure--had a skull series of x-rays-a CT scan and a EEG--all within normal limits. In early October I started being uncoodinated, having loss of balance when walking and kept falling. Back to the Neurologist-was admitted to the hospital on 10/31--had an MRI of the head--diagnosis Subdural Hematoma. Off to surgery-- had a Craniotomy to drain the blood. (Punch hole in skull and insert tube). I just got discharged today. Dr. said it was a Slow bleed so it took nearly 2 months to become problematic--a Fast bleed would have killed me i...

So if you have an ethernet "jack" on your computer, that means you have a little place to plug in a network cable. You'd plug the other end of the cable into a wall "jack." I wasn't sure if it was like a phone jack. I guess you have to provide your own cable.

  I have Direct TV and I don't remember a contract...hmmm I better check this. The 1st Tivo I got from Direct TV was a Hughes that recorded about 35 hrs (was actually less)--it malfunctioned and they replaced it free with a Philips that is supposed to record 70 hrs (does not). The only real problem I have is power outages that cause the system to reset, so I miss programming I have scheduled to record. In Georgia we have lots of electrical storms--not to mention my satellite is on a post out in the marsh, surrounded by water at high tide. I also live in an area where my choices are BIG dish satellite or LITTLE dish satellite.

  I have 2 internal harddrives--will one program downloaded on 1 drive protect the other--or do I have to download a program on each drive? (I keep getting a message from my Norton Virus program that it can not access the 2nd HD!!) Grrr!!

  Should I download more than one at a time? I have 2 internal hard drives. I downloaded Spybot (to start) on the 2nd HD--will that protect my whole PC or does each HD need it's own anti-spyware program?
