- American Vice - gone forever? 5/25/2010 9:15:01 AM I bought some download tokens at AmericanVice a few months back. Their storefront was down for a significant portion of the last week--no big deal, right? Well, now their servers are back up and responding to all requests with an "HTTP 410/Gone" notice. I'm pretty new to the whole scene so I don't know of AmericanVice's reputation apart from what the owner(?) has posted on these forums: https://www.adultdvdtalk.com/americanvice This is annoying ($) but also mysterious. No e-mail, no announcements, no instructions for getting a refund, though I suppose I could ask the billing service (hah). Where did they go and what happened? Anyone? Anyone?
