  Thanks Kelly for your advice, I think your right about things. You just have to understand it just gets tough sometimes getting a straight answer. I just want to know if it's true, or if there's something more going on. I also know this topic may not even be on the radar screen yet. There is a sense of uncertainty that comes with dissemination, and any altruistic views are quickly put to rest with the Truth.

  I decided to email LADirectModels personally to cut through all the B.S. and they informed me that August is no longer a client of LADirectModels, and that "she is gone". I don't know what this means, but it sure looks like August has left the Biz. Can anyone inside the Biz. confirm this?

  Monkey Power, Thanks for the report on this one. If it's chopped up I want nothing to do with it!! I figured August would be doing a girl/girl scene with Sunrise in the flick, so that's why it was pretty low on my radar screen. I like August in hardcore more than I do girl/girl but that's just me talking.

  Kami, That's what I thought. This issue of male talent ability is like some kind of dirty little secret within the Adult Biz. No one ever talks about what goes on, and that's why this is the first time I have ever heard of "injecting" to get hard. I am sure this is just the tip of the iceberg.

  IMHO, My favorite gal August has "The Best" and one of "The Worst" tattoos. The best tattoo in the Biz is her tribal tat just above her ass. That tattoo is classy and cool, and I don't even like tattoos. Once you see that tattoo, you go "WOW...that's a cool tattoo"! The worst, is her floral tattoo under/on her left arm. That tattoo is just to much, nothing sexy about that one.

What percentage use this method as opposed to natural wood ability or the "Little Blue Pill"? I have never heard of this before, and I am a little bit puzzled.   Selena, Again you have answered my questions fully and completely. Thank-you. You have stated that you follow alot of precautions before a scene. Do all the Stars follow such procedures? I know there are cautious people in every walk of life, and vice-versa people who don't give a damn as well. Thanks.

  Lubriderm79, I think you need to redefine your question. Are you asking about Latin DVD's? These flicks are mostly L.A. movies with Latin Stars in them. I think there have been some good lines posted here already. Or, Are you asking about original South American DVD's shot in those countries? For the most part those flicks are made with pro's and semi-pro's they pick up off the street. That is why there is almost always a condom involved. Working girls will not do it without one. The quality of girl in these flicks will be different every time due to Country and location, and to the taste of the film maker. To each his own. All Hail my perfect babe August!

  Selena, I am so glad you posted about this issue. Your post was so detailed and informative that you have cleared up alot of questions and misconceptions about this topic. You clearly defined the risks, and have looked at this question from all sides. Thank You. I have always wondered about this. I do have a few follow up questions. 1. If a Star tests positive for an STD, does that information get passed around the Industry (Gossip), or rather is that so common place within the Industry that no one bats an eye at the positive test result? This question is a little off topic, but here goes. 2. Is it standard practice for all female Stars to take "The Pill"? Thanks again to all the Industry Insiders who post on Adultdvdtalk...

  There was a recent story of a doctor/surgeon in the city where I live, who was HIV+, she didn't tell the Hospital, and only a few of her colleagues knew about it. When she died a few yrs ago it took a until a few months ago for the story to get out. The hospital then had to call in the 2500 kids she operated on during her HIV+ period at the Hospital. She never told her patients, and didn't tell the management at the Hospital where she worked. It's a crazy, crazy World we live in. Just for the record. Exactly how many, and what kind of tests do the Stars have to get tested for each month? Anyone know? Please post each individual test, I would really like to know from a reliable source on this board.

  Yah, haven't checked this flick out yet. My gal August is supposed to be in it, so I will get to it eventually. I also thought this one was a girl/girl feature, but I may be wrong. Let me know if I am wrong about the girl/girl only, because if it has boy/girl in it I just might move this one higher up on my "To Rent Soon" list.

  Hmmm. I can relate to this thread. I heard rumors that my favorite gal August left the Biz earlier this week, and I went into panic mode. The choice is always theirs to leave whenever they want. Nothing lasts forever but dang, it will be a dark day when August does decide to hang up her heels.

  Skronker, Sounds like your making a move here, Way to go. Sorry, couldn't resist. Seriously though, People are very often mistaken when we as "Fans" only get to know the public persona of a Star. These gals are so much more that what we see. That's why I love to watch the behind-the-scenes extra's on DVD's. There is nothing like seeing your favorite stars laugh and joke around, or bitch and complain, to give the fan a more accurate vision of their personality. Skronker, you are luckier than most. You have got to meet some of these gals on a personal level, and that makes all the difference when getting a more complete picture of a Stars' personality.
